No, what Mosley did was way worse.

Shane was on steroids. He admitted it. I think it's a bull**** statement by Oscar though, because if he truly respected him he wouldn't have said that. But I don't blame him - Mosley ****ing cheated to beat him. I don't understand why that fight can't be changed to a NC.

I wouldn't say that. Oscar was dehydrated and couldn't pull the trigger. He was a finished boxer even before that fight. Shane may have still had a little bit left, but Pacquiao convinced him he was finished.

Another thing to consider is that Oscar is now a promoter and he can't always say what he wants to say. It's not as if he can come out and say "That cheating **** was on drugs when we fought, I would have beaten him"

Oscar has vested interests with so many of his previous opponents that he's naturally going to keep everything sweet, when you become a promoter you have to be selective with the truth and pick your battles wisely

I would respect your suggested comment a lot more than the bull**** he actually said, because we know that's exactly what he meant, and why should anybody blame him? Mosley cheated outright, and many people (myself included) felt like Oscar won the rematch anyway.

I agree mate, I wouldn't blame him if he had a go at Mosley.

He seems to be sitting on the fence a lot recently and dodging questions but I suppose that's what a promoter does. He was asked questions about the cut that resulted in Khan-McCloskey fight being stopped and he just kept saying "I'm not a doctor". John Breen asked him directly "As a boxer, would you have liked for one of your fights to have been stopped by a cut like that". Oscar behaved like a politician under duress, dodged it completley and said he doesn't know, he's not a doctor.

During the same press conference he lauds praises on Freddie Roach with no mention of the fact that he sacked Roach. It's all a bit too cozy for my liking...

Yes sire I agree, this showed everything that was wrong with the sport, Hype, Glamour over done entrances (LL Cool J, and Survivor) then a "dud" of a fight. It actually hindered the sport and set it back rather then transcend it into main stream.

OScar has never said what he wanted ito say,, Even throughout his carrr he usually said, what the public wanted to hear and whatever sounded good.

Thats why Oscar has become such a succesful promoter, Because he's been practicing rehearsels since he won the gold medal back in 92.

Im not trying to diss him as he is my 2nd all time favorite. Just tellin it like it is,... Some Boxing fans are hating on oscar saying... " hes a bullshitter" or " He really doenst mean what he say" etc etc...
Or How he is insulting are intellegence with his cmmets"

Im lik e HELLO!! wher the hell have you been? Ive actually met ODLH a few times and hes pretty cool and acts like a regular guy... He doesnt act like the Wide eye goLLIE GEE WIZ TYPE OF guy when the camera are off.
