I do think it was a flash knockdown, I mean he was right up and ready to fight on, but it did change his rhythm quite, made him overly cautious for the next few rounds of Ike's power. He didn't get back to what he was doing before. Catching those lone shots Ike was pumping out, replying with his own job and sealing the round with combinations. He didn't want to do that from rounds 7-11. Then when it was crunch time, what did he do? Said "**** it!" went out there beat the **** out of the guy. Who had a remarkable chin himself to withstand that offensive barrage from Oscar.

If it weren't for the ropes Quartey would've been KO'd. He was practically sitting/lying on the ropes. I don't know if I've ever seen a guy take so many bombs straight to the chin and not go down, much less keep punching back. I bet he doesn't remember one second of that 12th round. Anyone else would've been done but gotta give Ike credit, his grit was incredible.

Foreman had a very underrated. Chavez comes to mind as well. Gatti had a pretty good chin, too.
