Pryor deserves more blame for the fight not happening. He's the one who turned down a career-high payday against Leonard.

    I voted for Gaye.

I thought about voting for Sloppy Joe, since he waited til Hopkins & Roy were both senior citizens before he fought them, but to his credit he did fight Lacy and Kessler when both were undefeated, and thought to be live underdogs.

The term cherry picking connotates blatantly selecting opposition on your ability to beat that opposition. Floyd is the only one of those fighters to jump weight classes repeatedly rather than face a legitimate challenger where he was. To me, that constitutes cherry picking much more than hiding in Europe with an alphabet strap like Slappy or not having much legitimate competition like RJJ.

    Calzaghe without a doubt.

Frank Warren is a master cherry picker and for 15 years lined up every soup kitchen bum, cab driver, and rehabilitating alcoholic to fight Slappy White and pad his still Weak-As-A-Republican resume.

Sergio's not in the list but his records suggest that he can be the biggest cherrypicker. His 40th or so fight was against a guy with a record of 3W-34L-2D. And now, as a top MW and No. 2 P4P, he is calling small welters for his next fight!

Not really! Pac is a cherry picker too but a very bad cherry picker. Pac picked Delayoha, Hatton, Cotto, Clottey and Margarito over Campbell, Juan Diaz, Casamayor, Soto and Marquez (for a 3rd fight).

It's Floyd for me! Mayweather, Jr is several levels above every body in terms of boxing skills and cherry picking! He in fact had transformed cherrypicking into an art.:good

you're not very bright are you ? everyone and their dog knows that both hopkins and jones refused to fight joe in his prime. hopkins asked for 3 mill, he got it, then turned around and asked for more. it would of been his biggest purse. hopkins ducked joe, not the other way round.

jones was offered 5 mill for the fight but turned it down. joe and warren couldn't of done any more to get these two into the ring. joe wanted it, they didn't.:hi:

Why don't you tell us. And also tell us who he fought instead of defending a belt vs. a mandatory? THAT tells the story. :deal

Get superfeatherweight out of this list. He beat the 2nd best superfeatherweight in marquez. He had nothing left to prove @ 130.

    Beat morales twice-barrera-larios-solis and marquez.

Lightweight you can make a point however i don't blame him for going after big payday vs oscar.

Hatton is the best jr welterweight at the time.

I think it's safe to say pac is a welterweight now who could still make 140 if he really wants to fight.

So you guys would say it is fine for him to go up in weight and take on the CHAMPIONS there, instead of the challengers at the lower weight just like that guy was accusing Floyd of doing :deal
