WHAT!!!:admin going into that fight it was an even money fight . . . it was probably one of the best performances ever for fighters who where evenly matched going in. A lot of the "overrated" performances have to be put into a historical perspective. Common someone said Haglar/Hearns for christ sack . . . hahaha then someone else said Duran/leanard 1 . . . if people know the history of the fight. it was not only was an impressive when going into the fight but rather how duran lured SRL into his kind of fight before they even got into the ring. it was right up there with the rope a dope. then Hearns/ duran . . . seriously who beat the crap out of an ATG like that Named Duran . . . not SRL . . . not SRL . . . the hitman!
Calzaghe vs Lacy. Lacy was really never more than a third rank fighter that was given old or just bad fighters on his way up. Not a single good win and still hyped up. I think Calzaghe was an extremely good fighter, but this fight did not prove that at all. Very overrated win. The current top 8 in the division would all have spanked lacy and half would have KTFO him.
Khan-Barrera. It's easy to hit an opponent who can't see sh!t because he has blood pouring down his face. That fight should have been a no contest due to one of the nastiest cuts I've ever seen in my life.
Hatton - Tszyu Mayweather - Gatti Mayweather - Corrales Corrales almost killed himself trying to make the weight. Great performace by Floyd, overated though because of how weak Corrales was through trying to shred all the weight.
Morales vs Maidana. A lot of people thought Morales won this fight but IMO he wasn't busy enough and clearly lost. Morales did perform better than i thought he would but i still think it gets overrated especially by people on here.
Bull****, it was an even fight that could have gone either way at the end, I think morales is one of the most epic boxers out there but im not protesting the decision to give it to maidana since it was very close, a draw was probably the most fair result. Morales was supposed to get brutally knocked out and everyone was worried about his health. Morales outboxing him and making the fight close with one eye was awesome.
5-5 is the very best you could have it after 10 rounds, i had it 6-4 Maidana and Maidana clearly won the last 2 rounds.
