Over rated win - David Haye Vs Nikolai Valuev

Valuev to me has never been a pure boxer, the only reason he has been able to win a world championship and defend it for so long was based on his size alone. kinda hard to hit a guy on the chin when you need a step ladder yet people praise haye for beating a 7ft 2 Valuev by running around the ring all night popping a few shots ala holyfield

Under rated win - Tavoris Cloud Vs Glen Johnson

Not a big cloud fan but no ones screaming at the rooftops about this win and given Johnsons recent success at 168 it only solidifies Clouds claim to fame at 175. Froch has probably recieved more respect than anyone for beating johnson since Bernard Hopkins

Jesus what a good thread, too many fights going through my head right now to nail down my top two so i'll just pick out two. Infact i'll do my sins then the sins of others.

Overated by myself: fitz knocking out corbett, I think this to be the greatest victory of all time and no matter how much people tell me otherwise no other boxing victory impresses me as much.

Underrated by me: mosley over oscar 1. I've recently changed opinion on this but for a long time I didn't give it much credit at all for some unknown reason!

    Now my opinions on perception

Underrated: jeanette vs mcvey in paris. I see almost no mention of this historic night and I have absolutely no idea why people don't discuss it 24/7?

Overrated: charles v louis (haha pop i'm sure this will irk you) I honestly don't put much impact on this victory due to the decline which is evident in louis's fights up until this one. I mean it is a tremendous victory but I think it completely pales in comparison to his victories over walcot, ray and bivins.

Overrated - Litzau win over Caballero...We all saw what happened to Litzau rescently:yep

Underrated - B-Hop over Pascal...Not many peoples realises this but Bernard made history with his performances over Pascal yet he does'nt seems to get the respect he deserves for those fights...

Tbh, I think Haye's win over Valuev is slightly underrated, considering it was in Germany and THE GUY IS ****ING HUGE.

What a sad f#cker you are Popkins, still obsessing over Calzaghe

    Overrated win
Hopkins over former WW Trinidad who had been put down 7 times that I know of

    Underrated win
    Calzaghe over Eubank

How far past prime was Eubank to you then?
Eubank had lost a close decision to Collins, that many thought he won, had a couple of tune ups and rematched Collins to a SD, had a couple of tune ups and lost clearly to underdog Calzaghe. After that loss Eubank went up to CW and challenged world champ Thompson losing a very close decision and then rematched Thompson losing on injury when ahead. Thats Thompson who years later past his best KOd D Haye.
Consider Eubank only had 2 losses to one fighter when he fought Calzaghe, the second by SD to a world champ and was 31 then went on to challenge a big CW flooring him etc, how past his prime do YOU think he was?
Remember Kessler is Wards big win and was the same age as Eubank here and had around the same amount of fights

Remember when you make silly comments about losses was G Johnson considered past his prime when years ago after losing to Hopkins he went 7-9-2 including the Hopkins loss
