At least Burnett isn't the wholly obnoxious twit Romaeo is. (mugging and disrespecting his opponent) He's also nicer to watch. ^ That is an understatement, actually.
Ryan Burnett: The Bantamweight Flame Of Ulster:think...not bad.....Irish guys are so hard to make up stuff for....I'm having writer's blockatsch
Plus that way you can sound all fancy when saying his full name with the moniker in the middle. "Ryan 'The Flame' Burnett" - sounds phonetically like "Ryan, the flame burneth! :fire"
I said that during Froch vs. Mack, got excited, pounded the buttons too hard, and wiped out all the internal components...had to replace my hard drive, motherboard, the works. :verysad
90wpm comes with a price. :!: I'm like those cowboys in movies who ride every horse to death, hop off, and grab one from the unfenced stable that just happens to be conveniently right there.
Ryan knows he is no longer in the amateurs, right? Like, when he lands a body combo and nothing comes back at him, standing in and digging some more is allowed, rather than backing off apologetically. Very little killer instinct displayed, can't help but feel he could've easily dispatched the Frenchman inside schedule if he bothered trying. ...and while I understand that Messaoudene has only been stopped twice (by Casey and Quigg, both of whom can punch) - I mean, did anybody else see that Romaeo stoppage??? Literally all that was needed was to flurry insistently for about 10 seconds, and voila, TKO.
That french guy really didn't wanna do anything in there but last the distance. Burnett is a class act... looked good again but it was hard to show his real true potential against such a negative journeyman like that.
