The difference in height between Wlad and Paul Wiliams is
similar as between Paul Williams and Mayweather.

The way they fight mostly depends on the opponent. Vitaly is not
jabbing more than Paul Willimas. Wlad is (same as Lewis was) and
he uses his height advantage ... but he is jabbing because
his chin does not allow him to stand toe to toe with punchers.

This does not however disqualify Wlad from p4p status because he
have much more assets than other boxers as tall as him (e.g. Valuev)
... he has enough power, speed and skills to be successful if he
would be shorter than he is now.

If you count his height as disadvantage in p4p status then his speed
should be his asset because he would be much faster and with his natural
atlethism his power would 'carry down' ... so shorter Wlad would be
faster and still powerful enough to knock people out at CW and LHW.

Also at CW or LHW Wlad should not worry as much about his
    chin or conditioning.

whoops, got you confused with wg2

All you guys with black guy avatars look alike :yep

and btw, did you really think calling me soft over the internet means a damn thing? You can insult my opinions/ideas/ or what i write.

But to call me soft over the internet, honestly what does that really accomplish? Does that make you feel better? Are you now tougher?

Oh my, i think your badass level went up by 5 points :scaredas:

Thank you for giving a logical answer.. (unlike Vanillakiller)

Fair enough...I see what...I dont agree with those who say because you're a heavy weight you shouldnt be on the P4P list...My understanding of pound for pound is that if two fighters was the same size despite weight classes...Who would.>>>>>Having said that its based on skills alone that earns you that spot so to say that HW shouldnt be on there is wrong IMO...If you have the skill then you're P4P material IMO...

I only brought up Williams because he tends to level the fields by neglecting his height and try to outbox\outhustle you.

    I got your point though!:good

Well these guys have way more natural talent than just height. Comparing the Klitschkos to Hearns? :patsch

Klitsckos are good fighters and great sportsman. But not P4P.

Dude you're the one who said I dont like white fighters!

What are you talking about...I was holding a decent conversation with you, but because you went left field on me...I was just speaking my mind because you wanted come off as an *******...If you meant to say that WG2 then I apologize, but as it seems at first...You quoted me and I responed in that matter.

Like I said, if you meant to aim that at somebody else then I do apoligze.:good

I think with the logic of Hearns involved you are talking about ATG status, right?

I'm thinking about current p4p status and bringing on Hearns is not logical.

If Wlad would be shorter with all his current assets intact he
would be still knocked out by prime Tyson ... that has nothing
to do with current p4p status. There is no other prime Tyson right now
and there is no other Hearns who could stand toe to toe with shortened Wlad.

Nope. Ask yourself this question? If either of the Klits fought Hopkins, RJJ,
or even Pacman just for the fun of it. If they were the same size of these fighters, do you think they are better skilled boxers to come out with the victory?

    That is what p4p means.

I am only answering Vanillakillas very illogical comparison of Hearns being tall and the Klits being tall. They had completely different fighting styles.

And I understand current p4p, and that is what I am basing my answer on.

I put a lot of emphasis on domination and ring generalship. Either guy would find success at lower weights using their respected styles. Height and weight is not the only reason for them winning

That pawing jab of the Klits would be blitzed by a Pacman flurry, or nullified by Hopkins or Mayweathers master defense. Tell me what other good weapons besides the jab and overhand right do the Klits have?

They have No footwork, no speed, no defense, besides being tall and out of range always. They have minimal skills in a very tall and lengthy reach thats it.

Considering Sergio, just beat PWill, that's a really bad list.
