. . . it should be the same where ever he used to be before this fight.

That sure is a impressive win . . . unfortunately Gomez is just a contender and not a highly rated opponent . . . so it should not be a point of refference to bolster Cotto's position in the p4p rankings.

That would depend upon the manner of the victory, how he looked etc. I would say anything from 1-4 would be justifiable. Of course if Calzaghe stops Hopkins in two, or vice versa, that fight/manner of victory would impact the list, but best guess?

    First.

nah cuz ur ****ing clueless and easily swayed by hype. I LOVE Cotto, but he hasnt even achieved what Mayweather did AT 130 or won a real championship. Hes a top 5 p4p, but hasnt achieved enough to be ranked higher than mayweather who is the consensus #1 p4p.

No.. because Floyd hasn't fought any p4p contenders in my eyes as Cotto has.. Don't get your panties in a bunch over someone elses opinions.. you dont see me bitchin' at everyone who has floyd as first..

Cotto beat Alfonso Gomez. Nothing to gain in here. He did what was expected of him.

    1.Floyd Mayweather
    2.Manny Pacquio
    3.Bernard Hopkins
    4.Miguel Cotto
    5.Joe Calzaghe

Does anyone realize that p4p is also based on fighters moving up in weight ..I don't see how Joe C can be ahead of some guys if he's only fought at 1 weight his entire career ..He does deserve a top spot for his intangibles but I can't rate him above fighters who have been successful at diffrent weight classes.

Anywhere between the middle portions of the top 10 (4-7) would be a fair place for him.

I'm honestly quite shocked at you saying that; fair play though.
