    Jack Dempsey for animal ferocity .

    Gene Tunney said fighting Dempsey was the only time he ever felt like his opponent was actually trying to kill him.

    Tyson for destructive punching savagery - his KO of Pinklon Thomas is a classic example.

    Roberto Duran surely.

    Sugar Ray Leonard was pretty good at finishing them off too. Cool, calm and collected when he had them on the ropes.
