well, if we leave out all the jmm and pac fans, the general consensus is that it was definitely a very close fight which could've gone either way. hmm... the same ring magazine owned by GBP which promotes jmm... i think i'll pass on this one. :rofl
This thread was not about the rematch..just look at the thread titleatsch Now i know how many of us are proud internet warriors but c'mon the real coward would be the ones talking **** here
It is'nt even about wanting a 3rd JMM-Pacquiao for me 4Rounder............its about teaching some of these *******s in this forum a little bit about humility......they bit on the bait, hook, line and sinker......They had a problem with JMM not signing right away for an immediate rematch on Bob Arums terms..........but when the shoe is in the other foot, they have no problem at all with Manny Pacquiao walking away from a fight that would surpass his richest payday by far, and in a fight that would be under his terms......none of this of which JMM had the luxury or even the choice to do under Bob Arums offer way back then.Everybody criticized JMM way back then.....the pacfans ridiculing and calling JMM a coward in this very forum till nauseum. The Pac fans dont even like the insinuation that someone could be calling Pac a coward, yet, I've called them out, all of them, to come out on this thread and apologize to JMM for the abuse he's recieved over the years in this forum. The Pac fans love to dish it out, but they dont like it when its dished out to them.Is there a Pac fan out there with the stones to own up and offer JMM an apology on this thread and on this forum?I'll say one thing. I have yet to call Manny Pacquiao a coward......but if some of these Pac fans (and they know who they are) dont come out with an apology for JMM, they are doing just that, they are the ones who are calling Manny Pacquiao himself a coward!
the two situations are completely uncomparable. JMM had not beaten Pacquiao, PAcquiao has beaten JMM Pacquiao has a ton of other big money fights available to him, JMM had none Pacquiao has alot more fans than JMM has ever had Pacquiao is recognized as the better fighter between the two and is the champion. Its rediculous for JMM to even think that he is the one who will be establishing the terms of a third fight. JMM went refused a 750,000 thousand dollar payday for a 30,000$ one. Pac can refuse a 7 million dollar payday against JMM, turn around and make 5 million against David Diaz, and possibly pick up the WBC belt in a new weightclass
Sometimes some of the boxers don't care about the biggest paydays.. Maybe they care about other titles.. There is no way I'm calling Pacquiao a coward for not apologizing to JMM.. That's just stupid.. What do I have to apologize for?? After the first fight, yeah I wanted the rematch, but it didn't happen and I didn't cry over it.. Instead JMM lost to Chris John and that was just funny.. Now JMM wants a rematch, but Pac is moving towards other things.. Yeah I want a rematch too, but ya'll just keep crying about it.. Arum ink's a fight between Pacquiao and Diaz and everybody starts whining.. It's not like JMM is gonna' retire tomorrow.. No way I'm apologizing...
You should be thanking me Enzo. I've got PacDbest running scared, and a non-participant in threads like these that talk JMM-Pac!:yep :rofl :rofl :rofl :rofl :rofl :rofl :rofl What was your score again PacDbest for the JMM-Pac rematch?
On the contrary, any objective poster can see there is plenty of evidence to charge the *******s(not the same as pacfans) with hypocrisy. They all bitched and moaned about the decision in the first fight, some even calling it a robbery and then turn around and whine about some JMM fans doing the same thing after the second fight:deal Many of them called JMM a coward for not taking the immediate rematch bur excuse Pac for doing the same thing.:deal JMM gets tons of abuse for refusing to take the 750K for the rematch and being forced to fight for 30K, but Pac is given the OK to refuse the better fights against JMM and a 7mil purse to fight for a cherry-picked belt for a smaller purse:deal Starting to see the similiarities:hi: And by the way, PAC IS the champion but not necessarily "recognized as the better fighter between the two":nono
If your are indeed the originator of that word, a lot of posters here(myself included) might have to cough up some royalty fees!:good
In the official record books yes, where we know that boxing has a history of corrupt decisions handed down to the more popular fighter...... .....but not where it counts more, in the polls of public opinion! Thats just it, JMM is not establishing the terms. He is saying to Manny Pacquiao, lets make this fight happen for the people. The people want to see it again. JMM has even gone as far as to let Pac know that he is willing to sacrifice financially just as he did for the rematch to happen......to which Pac said, "anytime, anywhere." ......but what Pac really meant was NO GO! Like I said earlier in this thread, Pac is fighting for a paper bogus title of which there are many knowdays to toss around. Thats fine and dandy if Pac wants to test the waters with Diaz at 135 lbs to see where he stands at that weight....... .......but after that is which I have a problem with......after that, it looks like that Pac is going to cashout in a megashowdown with Ricky Hatton in a fight that he has no chance to win. Its a cashout fight for Manny Pacquiao. Financially it will be good for him, but it is likely to be the end for him as an elite fighter......and that is what will be bad for all boxing fans! Financially, the Hatton fight will be great for Pacquiao, but such a mismatch is always bad for boxing!
Then why are you saying Pacquiao turned down a big money offer? If you agree that Pacquiao is establishing the terms, then you agree that he did not turn down an offer, since he is the one who would be making the offers. anyways its obvious that any logical debate is lost on you
you forgot the answer of the guy who actually knows how to predict a fight "Pacquiao will win by decision"
Did you originate the word Maestro? :good I knew that I had heard it in this forum a few times!:yep Its an exellent word for that best describes certain posters on this board to a tee.....but would hate for the word to be overused, as there are alot of Pac fans around here also, that dont deserve to be stereotyped as such. To all Pac fans, the word ******* I only refer to a very select few around here, they certainly know who they are! I will try my best to refrain from overusing it, as to not offend the true reasonable Pac fan in this forum!
I've never categorized you as a ******* but you're not making any points for yourself when you're basically just playing semantics to try and make baseless arguments!atsch
