Floyd has even stated he was the toughest guy he ever fought. Still he got stopped in the 9th rd. If we are to dig up struggling moments from the past I can easily say Pac has struggled more - has been ko'd twice, struggled against Yesh, Sanchez, Larios; lost to Morales; really struggled against JMM

Just as I don't think FMJ will use the shoulder roll all that much in this fight, I also don't think Pac will throw any looping shots with his left hand all that much either unless Floyd allows him that shot (which he could let happen early on to assess that punch) because Floyd will likely be either out of range and be ready with a lead-left hook, or way too close. Instead, look for Manny to try to take away the outside by either timing the jab with the straight left (his signature, but Floyd may be too rangy due to arm length), or a right to the body/ribs/armpit area underneath Floyd's jab (Manny did this multiple times to Morales in the second fight) in order to get Floyd to close the distance. Here, Manny needs to revisit his very-close-quarters fighting that he used to do pre-122 when he was usually the one with the significant reach advantage over his opponent, because I think the outcome will be determined on who's winning in the phone booth, and Floyd is VERY comfortable at that range.
