I really do think this is pac's weight...During david diaz, i think he was around 145lbs and 148lbs in dela hoya fight..
Although he was having trouble making weight at 130 I don't think he was dying at 130. if he was then his performance against JMM was out of this world for a "dying fighter". 135 is probably his natural weight as a fighter right now. I think thats the weight where he would be fighting other fighters of the same size.
147 for Diaz. 148 1/2 for ODLH. He could still make 135 yes, but it is less of drain for him to make 140.
Both Marquez and Pac needed to move up. It was quite a drain for Pacquiao. You should know the extra weight he carries is mostly muscle with only 5% body fat.
It would be harder for him now to go back to 135 since he has upgraded his body with more muscle when he went up to 147... pac is now a solid 140 if he cuts downk to 135 it only means he has to burn extra muscle which is bad.
Your not gonna see much of a size difference between Pacman and Hatton. I know Ricky walks around heavier but thats because hes not as strict with his diet between fights as Manny is.

That's what I was saying that he does not have much to spare as far as losing weight. 140 is best for him definitely.
Not to mention Roach has spoken plenty of times about this and he was definitely really draining to make weight. Obviously this is why he looks so much better above 130. I do think Marquez needed to move up too.
