How did he get outworked when he landed more clean punches then Bradley did? Partially landing? Did you not see those 3 clean left hands Pacquiao landed at the end of the round? Those were the only telling blows landed in the entire round. Judging by your comments, I'm guessing you thought Pacquiao beat Marquez? (Not that I think those two fights are comparable)
Undecisive! Yes, Bradley landed more but it's almost like it didn't matter, Pac landed less but more effectively, no knockdowns or anything but really, this is a matter of opinion. If you're looking for a round to give to Bradley, this would be one for sure.
Except in that fight Pacquiao actually consistently landed clean punches. That was a close competitive fight, not comparable. But I don't wanna turn this into a Pac-Marquez 3 debate.
It was a close round, and Pac was getting outworked, Bradley landed good body shots and a good straight right earlier. This round was open to interpretation as 6 others were, trying to steal rounds in the last 20-30 seconds is not winning strategy.
Idiots think its amatuer boxing. Pac was more patient and caught Bradley with hard shots that turned Tommys chances down the sewer Werent just punches they changed the whole round, showed whose boss. Tims style of no pop he has the burden of not letting power shots land on the button or do more while Pac walking him down
Its not comparable because Marquez was clearly landing cleaner shots against Pac for about 10 rounds, while in the 2nd half of this fight Pac wasn't landing much and Bradley came on, btw Compubox was a joke.
He landed a couple of body shots, and that's it dude.. The right hand didn't land. Pacquiao landed the best, and CLEANEST punches of the round, regardless if they were in the last 30 seconds or not. You don't win points for hitting gloves or hitting air. This isn't amateur boxing where every little punch is scored the same way.
With that mentality, of course you're not going to give Pac the round. Pac landed those punches to hurt Bradley, not try to steal a round. It's like you're penalizing him for throwing punches in the final 30 seconds...that's not how you score boxing. Pac landed a number of punches throughout the round and the landed 2 of the best punches in the round. I don't see how Bradley throwing "keep away" jabs as outworking a fighter. Those keep away punches had no meaning since they hit nothing but air.
If I was a judge, I would judge by "Who appeared to be the one that received more damage?" Not by who landed more.
Pac's shots were NOT landing as clean as Lampley made it seem, FFS they had Pac landing the same number of shots as Bradley in the 10th atsch
So what are you saying, Bradley won 6 rounds of the second half? Aside from maybe the last 3 rounds, Pacquiao consistently landed the best/cleanest punches in the fight
If Pac's shots did more damage than why despite Bradley having 2 bad feet was he the one slowing down? Why was he the one with his face all marked up? Early on he landed some nice shots but as the fight went on he became less effective, the judges had him up 3-1 after 4.
