Im one of the minorities here when I say that I scored the fight for Pac. 114-113. But I have NO problem if people scored the fight for JMM. It was razor-thin close and JMM could've easily won it.

    No.
JMM clearly outboxed Pac the second time around. The first i forget my scorecard but i think it was very close with maybe a draw coming out.
The second fight was also close but JMM won it.
I think its funny how Merchant said as they were going in the 12th that he had an even fight and JMM clearly won the 12th but Merchant still could not say JMM deserved the win.

I think the fight was close but since there was more money to be made if PAc won they just gave it to Pac. It was an interesting and smart tactic used by Roach. Let the fans know if he wins he will step up to LW and then light welter to fight Hatton. Too much money in those fights to give the nod to JMM.

After JMM gets through Casamayor i expect there to be a rematch and hopefully PM beats Hatton so we dont have to watch that.

i scored the first fight a draw just like how many others did although i can see why people can have it for marquez or for pac(error scoring etc.)

    2nd fight

i have it for marquez the first time, i rewatch and the fight and reviewed it for 3x. I finally have the fight still for marquez 114-113. I reviewed most of the close rounds, i gave pac round 1 oppose to what others think. Round 1 was clearly pac's round and 3 judges gave it to pac. Pac won 2/3 of that round while marquez did won the final 1/3 of the round to make it look like he was winning that round

Pacquiao won the first by a point (Burt Clements admitted he made a mistake scoring the first round 10-7), but a draw would be OK.

Pacquiao won the second by a point, but a draw would be OK.

Anyone who feels Marquez won by a point in either fight is understandable, but it's CLEAR that anyone claiming ROBBERY is a JMM nuthugger or a Pacquiao hater.

I agree with the 1st round. JMM threw ONE clean punch throughout the ENTIRE round and Pac was the busier one connecting more punches. Pac's punches was not as clean as JMM's one punch, but still clean enough. I also gave the 7th round to Pac. JMM started out VERY strong in that round, but Pac finished that round stronger IMO, by the middle of the round Pac was hitting JMM with straight left after straight left after straight left almost at will.

I think it really depends which style you prefer. Personally, when it's a back and forth fight I tend to give the aggressor the benefit of the doubt. Going into the late rounds, it was still Pac stalking and initiating. I mean both of them mustve known it was a close fight...instead you got one fighter (Pac) who, at least in my eyes, wasnt content on letting it go by the wayside and having the judges have so much say. So if you're in my school of scoring close rounds, rounds that may have gone to JMM, was given to Pac. A defensive counterpuncher in a close decision, will always have a perceptual disadvantage, no matter how well he fought....So yes, I do believe won a close decision over a hard style in JMM. Conversely, JMM didnt do enough to get out of his comfort zone.

I scored the fight 6 rounds to 6, with Pac getting the edge due to the KD.

I felt Marquez won 8-4 in their first fight, with the score being 113-112 due to the KD's.

They're really perfectly matched fighters, and both fights are extremely close.

Look at his resume and his overall ability, no active fighter has an edge when taking in the two. That is why he's the #1 P4P.

I gotta be honest on the second fight: at first glance i thought jmm won but it was close for me 114-113 for jmm (hear that 4rounder and divac?) and i also gave the first round for jmm because of that clear str8 he gave to pac that seems to be the highlight of that opening round! No ****. I even have an argument to my dad who is a hardcore fan of pac but casual by over-all standards:nut . JMM won 7-5 rnds for me then. But i went here at esb that one thread starter( or poster i think?) said that manny won the first round. If that was the case, i said to myself that i have to watch the replay and score it again: so i waited to watch it on replay later at night here at the phi.(since pac's fight live coverage started at 10 am). I saw and counted how many punches was thown by both fighters: 10 FOR PAC AND 3 FOR JMM! That shifted my score cards a bit with pac THIS TIME, winning rnd 1. The scorecard this time? 6-6! Pac won with that 10-8 score at rnd 3 with a thin 114-113 margin. Btw, pac won mid rounds: parrying most of jmm's punches. It is really a cose fight and to say that jmm clearly dominated is quite an out of this world comment.

he won both fights imho, 1st fight the 10-6 card instead of 10-7
on the 2nd fight, the knockdown scored by Pacman made the difference
on the result of the fight... SD win.

The pac fans aint never gonna admit the truth.

Some of them still make excuses as to why he lost to Morales.:nut

Even when pac clearly loses they have a hard time seeing it, so I doubt any of them will actually admit that JMM CLEARLY beat pac in the rematch. If pac wasnt the draw JMM would have gotten the nod.:yep

I'll be honest... JMM won the 1st by a very slim margin (so a Pac win is not a robbery) and Pacman clearly won the 2nd by at least 2 points.

Instead of posting nonsense, why don't you actually TRY to counter our posts. All I see from you is Pacfans this, Pacfans that, *******s this, *******s that. Try to have atleast a decent argument for a change. Go on. The Pac-JMM 2 fight is already on YouTube. If you really feel JMM outboxed Pac to death, prove it instead of dissing everybody here.
