Using that logic yet for years people claimed JMM won his fights with Pac, when the fight was MUCH closer than Pac-Bradley ever was. I mean 1 out of 120 experts scored it for Bradley, it doesn't get more 1 sided than that.
clean punching ring generalship effective aggression defense ever hear of this? there were plenty of rounds where pac did nothing for 2 to 2 and half minutes. he would attack the last 30 seconds and didn't always get the best of bradley in that short period.
show me on box rec where it says pacquiao won that fight. show me on fightfax where it says pacquiao won that fight. show me the video where they raised pacquaio's hand in victory against bradley. it doesn't matter what either of us say....pac lost that fight.
this thread isn't about who had the greater career. it's about fans putting a spin on the marquez loss. the front page of this site has an article that suggested pac was a better fighter because he clearly beat bradley and bradley clearly beat marquez. that is pure nonsense. history cannot be erased. just like i cannot erase the 3 knockdowns scored by pac in the first fight....i can't erase the fact that marquez knocked pacquiao out cold in their last bout. even though i scored bouts 2 and 3 for marquez....the record books show wins for pac. no one can dispute any of what has happened. bradley beating marquez doesn't change any of that. maybe the ppl that hate marquez for knocking out their hero feel a little better because bradley beat him....but marquez still ko'd pac. that can't be undone.
Lets just settle this, Most experts agree Pacquiao beat Bradley, ok Pac gets the W Most experts agree Marquez beat Pacquiao on their Second and Third fight, Marquez gets the two W's Marquez 3 W's 1 Draw vs Pac. hah!
emanuel steward at the end of the fight said, "that was as close as you could get without there being any knockdowns." so i guess he didn't know **** about boxing either?
if it were that easy. unfortunately...hbo, jim lampley, harold lederman and compubox are all using groupthink to control the public. apparently that **** works.
Of course it works, the media has hired experts in human psychology, the media knows the people better than the people knows themselves. :bart, People got conditioned to never use critical thinking, just pick one team/person and root for him, be biased, pathetic how whole nations follow a fighter simply because he was born in the same piece of land as they did, and that some how makes them feel proud, as if they had anything to do with the fighters accomplishments. shiiiiieeetatsch Just look up Project MKUltra. They got it.
How do you measure who is the better fighter though? To me, its how dominant he is amongst all opponents. JMM has struggled with much lesser fighters, and IMO has only looked great against Pac. I cant see Pac struggling with the likes of Katsidis and Juan Diaz, yep great action fight but we see what pac did with come forward fighters like that in Margarito, Diaz and Hatton, all of whom would have destroyed the 2 IMO. He also dominated MAB and beat Bradley easy, where many had MAB beating JMM and obviously Bradley clearly beat JMM. JMM obviously is a great fighter, but to me its obvious, he is the perfect foil for Pac. His best performances has come in the 4 Pac fights. Outside of those 4 fights, he's looked good in some fights but none spectacular. I havent read the article, but ye, I do think Pac is a better fighter overall than JMM, but H2H it's obvious JMM gives him hell at any weight, probably at any period. Like I referenced earlier, Ken Norton arguably beat Ali 3 times, is he the better fighter? Styles makes fights.
He also said he was dumbfounded as to how the judges scored it for Bradley...? skip to 1.04: [yt]ZJ70JRK_Uc8[/yt]
Why the hell is Pac suddenly getting dragged into this? There are irrefutable FACTS about Pac vs Bradley and Bradley vs Marquez: 1. Pac outclassed Bradley. We don't care about idiots who has it at a draw or worse, a Bradley win. I'd take JMM's IQ and credibility over some amateur any day all day. And he had Pac up by 5 points. Watch Golpe a golpe and see the genius for yourselves. Only a handful of *****s thought Bradley won ALL OVER THE WORLD. 2. Marquez was outclassed. JMM appeared old and sloppy and just frustrated. Only a handful of Juantards taught he won. 3. Pac accepted the defeat like a man and did not say a thing about ANYBODY. 4. Marquez sourgraped to retirement.
"Among the experts above, 121 scored the bout for Pacquiao, 1 scored the bout a draw, and 1 scored the bout for Bradley." "Among the unofficial scorers above, 57 scored the bout for Marquez, 51 scored the bout for Pacquiao, and the remaining 36 scored the bout a draw." And this is for the 3rd fight, the supposed robbery. Do you see the difference?
