Totally agree. I find it hard to put any negative spin on what floyd is doing given he has agreed to everything that Arum has asked of his team. And importantly as you said, Floyd gains NO advantages from doing the blood tests.

People say he intentionally made demands that couldnt be met therefore avoiding the fight. Thats a pretty big call though given that if Pac changes his mind and accepts the test then the fight is 100% on. Im sure PBF has a lot of contacts in boxing circles and its highly likely that rumours have been circulating about Pac and maybe even from eye witnesses. I personally dont think that Floyd would make such a call without having sourced information somewhere, given that he himself has risen quite a few weight divisions...

Actually mate, Floyds demands of random blood testing were tabled at the very start of negotiations and Arum actually commented on them in his first press releases about the fight. At that time he didn't have a problem with them.

Gotta remember that TR countered with a $10 million penalty for every ounce Floyd is over 147. Floyd agreed and called their bluff. lol. I think that's when the **** hit the fan.

The rumors have been floating around for quite a while. Floyd snr was the first to go public and Malignaggi and Cintron have also gone public with their suspicions. I also have heard that quite a section of US media have been suss for sometime as well.

Apparently Arum will announce Pac v Foreman in the next few days.

If this fight doesnt happen, it really does cast doubts over Pacquiao's legacy. There will always be people who will question some of his best wins.

I'm just amazed why people especially on the main forum think Mayweathers the bad guy about this testing.

It's very suss that Pacman is making excuses about taking blood so close to the fight etc

Fuxck'n panheads can't be trusted fullstop.

Geez Jet, your the mailman, always delivering! You get the goss early and if your mail's right, this will only add to conjecture about Pac if he fights Yuri at 154lbs!!

Choc will be calling out Pac soon if he fights at that weight!

don't take it as gospel mate. arum has actually been spouting malignaggi as his next opponent but the mail is that foreman will get the gig if this whole thing turns to ****.

pac's reactions to all this is just weird. he'd rather pay a stack in legal fees and take them to court and try to sue for damages rather than take a few blood tests and earn a guaranteed $30 million.

and talking about mail...the early mail is that pac has got almost no chance of successfully suing in a defamation case. that's if he even takes it that far, he probably wont.

To win the case he has to prove the allegations are false. The only way that can be done is to be randomly tested leading up to fights.

No gospel, but what would Arum rather? Malignaggi who isn't his fighter, or Foreman who is? Hence, easier fight to make with double proceeds going back to him and should Pac win, another title!

I agree with you, it's not actually weird though, it's down right weak and pathetic that Pac won't adhere to bloods and yet earn himself a fortune and provide the fans who buy his fights the opportunity to see the most anticipated fight of the last decade.

Only from what I'm reading mate...apparently it is extremely hard for anyone with celebrity status to make a claim for defamation in the US. Plus, as far as it appears, no one from GBP or Floyd has accused him of using drugs.

But like you said...if he steps in a court room he better be prepared for a mountain of cross examination that will dig and dig to try and find that he has used ped's. I guess all his team would need to be prepared for that. I don't think he will sue...It'l blow over I reckon.

It's a battle between Floyd "doesnt want to get beaten" v Pac "I dont wanna get caught"

Even if Pac tests positive I still wanna see the fight :D

It is a damn shame if these two don't meet. I am a big fan of both. But Pac needs this fight now, he needs to prove he is clean. His reputation is on the line. People will wonder how he went from 106 to 145 and retained all his speed, while increasing his power and durability.

On the testing point, HGH is harder to hide from blood tests than urinalysis. There is also the fact that a red blood cell count that can be done ( obviously ) only from a blood test, if this has been increased and it can be, it means he can train harder and longer and have the benefits in the fight too. From what i have read, Pac does not like the 'random' testing of this proposal, which to me is like having an invigilator in an exam only checking the students on the hour, of course no one would cheat.
