not if you judge by the state of their faces after the fight. on espn interview after the fight manny looked pretty busted up to me. pbf looked like he did before his fight
Let's not compare the Marquez who fought Pacquiao twice vs the Marquez who went up in weight to fight Mayweather.
Floyd landed 59% of his punches while holding JMM to a 12% connect rate. In that fight Floyd landed more punches 290 than Pac did against Clottey in 738 less punches thrown. That is what you call boxing masterclass!
wow, Pac does a great job in the ring, and instead of just acknowledging it or shutting their mouths, all the Floydettes have to get into their can-can line and talk ****. Pac sucks this, Floyd will do this. blah blah blah just shut up already. you talk more **** then the closet homo you love and adore so much.
:yep:yep:yep Did you even watch both fights. JMM was literally the smaller man and not covering up. Did you see Clottey with "the wall of Ghana". Try landing good shots with those. Damn, Floydie might not even land a single one inside.
so let them switch opponents and see if floyd would still get a 59% accuracy against clottey. or better yet, let clottey and jmm fight at welter and see who is the tougher/better fighter at the weight. joyboy's logic. atsch
I remember Roach and the rest of Team Pacquiao saying how Floyd would be the easiest fight. There are numerous youtube videos with them trash talking on it. Floyd did offer a 14 day response which had been confirmed by Arum after he initially denied it. Richard Schaefer also went public about the 14 day offer because they didn't think that Arum had even told Pacquiao about the offer. Before you come at someone get your facts straight!
Marquez came to fight. He is a lion. Clottey came to lay down. He is a gump. He was paid the **** off. He did not try. He did not punch. None of that **** had to do with sloppy ass Pac with his shitty defense and his usual fall in face first after a combination style. He was there to be hit and Clottey did not hit him as if he did not want to hurt him. None of his punches had mean intentions. Its just ****ing obvious.
I think you should get your facts straight yourself and not take any floydettes word in here as the "truth". Let me summarize it for you. Floyd offered 14, Pac countered with 24. Floyd did not respond (even when rumors of Shaeffer and Ellerbe who brought in doctors to enlighten Floydie about the drug testing facts and tried to convince him). The 48 hours negotitation window lapsed. Pac can not fight past March 13th and did not want to play with Mayweather's antics anymore and drag the negotiations further getting too close to March 13th. And Team Pac looked for the best available welter. End of story.
Arum said it not some "Floydette". Go back and re-read all those threads from the time period. As far as antics go, Team Pacquiao used all the tricks that they could to quit negotiating to move on to fight someone else because like Freddie Roach said he needed more time to get Pac ready to deal with Mayweather. It's all on youtube and previous threads. Team Pacquiao agreed to the testing and then reneged.
roach said it but just to annoy floyd into accepting the fight. after that, he has been saying how floyd is a tough match-up for pac stylewise. also the 14 days floyd's response to the 30 days cut-off by team pacquiao. team pac moved it down to 24 but floyd is insistent on 14 days. there was a new thread about this iirc but i would not further debate this cause it's useless. floyd should drop this charade and fight pacquiao. no more hanky panky demands from a bull**** accusation after all, pac is easy to hit, right?
I don't understand how anyone can take anything Negative about Pac based on this fight. Pac did everything you could ask from him based on what he had in front of him. His defense was solid. His work rate was tremendous. And he never stop trying to get the KO. BTW he did not get hit easily, he was trying to bate Clottey into throwing so he could get him into an exchange.
