The exact same thing happened to me, I waited for the tickets to be released, internet and phone but missed out on them, then it turns out there were never any tickets for sale, they were all with the package/ hospitallity deals. *******s!
Well the KO I envisioned would be an accumulation KO, much like PBF's... I just see ricky taking way to much damage throughout the fight and where PBF would land maybe 3-4 Flush hard shots per round, I would put my money on Pacman landing more than that per round.... I think Ricky could possibly pull off an Upset KO , Manny has never been hit flush by someone with Ricky's power yet
How much do you think they will cost if I buy a couple of decent seats the day that they go on sale? I may actually take a day off of work to sit on the phone for this one
Well if Ticketmaster doesn't sell tickets to brokers, you could probably get some good seats near the L or M section at the MGM for about $700 and up.
Cheers Mc, you talk a lot of sense but if you look at some of the other Pac posts on this fight, in this thread and others, its Pac massive power advantage that will get him an easy KO.atsch One things for sure, he won't get the time he had to tee off on Oscar and Diaz with nothing coming back at him when he fights Hatton. Should be a good 'un!!!:good
I was at home by the internet/ phone for the Mayweather-Hatton fight, the majority of tickets had been pre sold to travel/ sports companys before they were even offered to "ordinary" fans.
Stupid that they even allow that to happen. We need Obama to start regulating that crap! I would probably actually go to more major sporting events if it wasn't for this, Superbowls are a minimum of like 5K USD because they are all bought out by travel and sports companies.
Diaz is crap and Hatton is not gonna stand there like there like a statue , this fight has epic written all over it.
millenium stadium in cardiff, wales has a retractable roof. is there a watershed for boxing times in the US ? surely if was held it at say 11pm the latest it would be on ,on the west coast would be late afternoon. I hate this notion that it has to pander to the US market when neither fighter is American.
You make it sound like accumulation is bad. Seriously I bet mostly anyone who predicts a Pac KO meant it'll be a KO by accumulation. Pac has been KOing guys by accumulation since he's 126 days. Its nothing new. Ofcourse he's no Julian Jackson, but no matter how many excuses we throw on the DLH and Diaz fights, its fairly obvious that he HAS power. Enough power for Hatton to seriously respect. Surely you must acknowledge that at the very least.
In what way did I say accumination was bad? "Impressive from a boxing point of view", doesn't sound bad to me? Pac has a decent dig at 135+ but no more than that, certainly enough to keep Hatton honest but he's not the massive puncher at these weights that some people are making out....read some of the threads around here if you don't believe me that many people are way overestimating his power.
