Bean picker more like, if he fights DLH, it's more like Jack and the Beanstalk.

Was David cherrypicking when he fought Goliat? But it is a disgusting freak fight that will shorten the little man careers. But he is not the one to blame.

Everyone? Your alone in there buddy. Everyone(or almost everyone) here gives Pac credit for fighting A MUCH bigger man, DESPITE him fighting for money.

It IS a high risk, what in the blue hell are you talking? He'll get money, but he's also risking INJURY and he's also risking his career. He'll most likely not be the same fighter after this fight and could get KTFO when he goes back to 135 ala RJJ.

You have to take into account that he still has other fights he wants to make. Its not like this will be his last fight. So how the heck is he even half-close to cherry picking? Fighting Oscar IS risking other potential bouts he STILL wants to do in the future.

Your not being consistent. If you want to label Manny as "close to cherry picking", then I gues you can start labeling EVERYBODY who has fought Oscar, from Trinidad to Mayweather, as cherry pickers. I guess Margarito is "close to a cherry picker" as well since he seems to be obsessed with a DLH fight.

Honestly, I never thought I'd actually see someone here claim that fighting a bigger and much stronger guy is cherry picking. I mean wtf?? :huh Isn't it supposed to be the other way around?

    Yes "Everyone". :deal

"Pac should take this fight, he has nothing to lose" seemed to be the
the consensus for all those supporting this farce.

Consistency is where all this is coming from. Mayweather has been labeled a cherry picker for fighting DLH(and 2 or 3 other guys) instead of fighting Margarito, Cotto, Williams etc., why should we hold Pac to different standards? And the same would be true of Margarito had he fought DLH and a couple more easy touches after that.

Anyone gets a free pass once in a while and Pac deserves more than his fair share but as far as I'm concerned the DLH fight will be the 2nd consecutive fight were Pac has not fought the best challenge out there for him.
