Plus he's clearly a decade or close to of it out of his prime.

Been declining for a while. Last time he looked shades of his prime (but not in it) was the first or second Bradley fights imo. Last time he was in his total prime was cotto. I think he's been declining ever since and it's pretty amazing what he's accomplished since. Broner would be a pretty sick win

Slick fighters and counterpunchers give Pac problems. Broner is niether. Broner looks great when allowed to lead but, doesn't fight well off the back foot, counters are average at best and has trouble with high volume, pressure fighters. Broners style never gave Pac troubles. That being said, time always levels the playing field. We shall find out tonight how level that field has become.

I've never seen Pac look so old.
I hope Pac doesn't go out on his shield like Chuck Liddell

I could see Broner KO'ing Pac, yes..but outboxing him? Hell no

Look at every fight where he has faced a pressure fighter...he shells up and takes a beating.

Even at 40, Pac is a decent pressure fighter. Broner at welter is NOT THE SAME fighter as Broner at lightweight. He has actually sucked at that level. Malinaggi arguably beat him, as old and shot as he was, Maidana destroyed him, Porter beat him handily and he looked bad against Vargas. Besides Granados (who is a gatekeeper about to get beatdown by Garcia), does he have a legit win at Welter.

Pretty much my thoughts exactly. I also don't believe that at 30 years old, Broner has seen the light and is dedicated himself suddenly. Maybe he will prove me wrong, but judging by his recent actions I doubt it. After the beatdown from Maidana, I thought, you know what, this guy could get humbled and really turn himself around and I could even cheer for him...but he hasn't and likely won't. I expect him to be a jerk in the post fight win or lose.

Jeff Horn was ordinary. When he went up against Crawford he got SMASHED.
And yet even if you thought Pac got robbed he struggled with a boxer who has what skills exactly?

This. But honestly a 50 percent PAC has a 50/50 shot against broner. I'd say he's still at 75-80 percent. He's a faded ATG. Broner is a hype job. I think that term is thrown around way to loosely btw...but broner IS a hype job. The longest lived hype job of all time. A former weight bully who needed a gift to get past tiny ponce de Leon. A high volume pressure fighter. He was almost beaten by a faded Paulie. SD against Vargas. Beaten up by granados. He has accomplished SQUAT outside of bullying way smaller guys and even then needing a gift or two.

Or even worse... Like Hopkins ;)

I think Pac outclasses the POS Broner.

anyone but Broner. He is so undeserving. He lost to most of the good fighters he fought. If he wins he will build this up as the greatest win ever. Manny is ready to be taken at 40. I mean why not now? At 41 or 42? A man at this weight should not be fighting at 40 years old. They can do it a little better the higher you go, but not at 147. I give him credit for being able to still try and fight at this age.
