Too bad I don't see him fighting on MARCH 13th. After the elections. Like I said win or lose PAC should fight PBF! I don't think he'll turn his back to fight PBF after the elections.

Let the name calling begin! :rofl:lol:

PARTY is OVER after the Philippine election and start thinking of what to say...

I really though pac is ducking pbf..
PAC did not actually campaign but actuall secretly training...
PAC was buying time and studying pbf...
DAMN! i'm wrong again about pac....

    :rofl:lol::rofl

your also one of those guys that was saying floyd was scared of manny, the ridiculous thing about this is, if it was mayweather pulling this **** he would be crucified, ive met floyd a couple of times and he is not this guy the media portrays him to be, hes a good guy that does a lot for the community in vegas, and he does care about his legacy, thats why hes trying to make this fight happen, obviously pac cares mopre about politics and corruption, then he does his legacy, floyd is now the official pound for pound number one by default.

Like I said...the world doesn't turn around Pacquiao...
He needs to make up his mind about that fight being offered now and live with his decision of saying no if that's the case...

Pacquiao is turning 31..he has all his life to be part of politics but the clock is running out on his fabulous career. Opportunities like this don't come knocking at your door every year of your life ;)

No. Corruption takes many forms besides stealing money. For example, a catholic priest molesting little boys is corrupt. Taking a political position and granting jobs to family and friends is also corrupt, as is taking a political position and not doing any work.

Man that is real talk. That is all Mayweather fans ask for.

If Manny wants to move on? Hey more power to the man. He has given boxing some of the best years of his life. I wasn't a fan, but I love boxing so give Manny respect. Let him retire, lose all of his belts and rankings, and do great things for the people of the Philippines. They deserve his best. :thumbsup

Don't get on TV talking about having X fights left, who is ducking you, you do it for the fans not the money, other guys do it for the money not the fans, let your trainer and promoter talk all reckless and THEN when the fight is staring you in the face say you are all about politics. That is weak. :bart

It's either team Pac is just buying time to prepare for Floyd or Pac owes a lot of favor from higher officials there to really be in this election (IMO, he has no business in politics) *using him as a dummy to get votes from that area*, or he took his (previous election) loss too seriously to really want to win this time. These are just some probable reasons why the runarounds about the fight. We don't know for sure what the real reason is, but I can't blame guys for saying Pac is ducking. As stated before, March 13 is just too soon for Pac to be in this mega-fight but then again can't blame guys since it's team Pac who was talking about those dates.

It is just unusual why was it too easy for Floyd to accept the fight terms (whatever it is) to fight Pac. Was it because he really needs money right away, or he is thinking that Pac will just be a walk in the park?

Whatever it is, we'll just see what's going to happen. It might turn out to be as stated, " he who laughs last, laughs the LOUDEST", or "he how laughs last, will never have time to laugh".

this man is right. most here (non-filipinos) are assuming, reasonably, that if pac gets elected, he'll be tied up in the day to day grind of politics. but that's not how it works in the philippines. consider the following prime examples:

in last year's philippine version of the oscars, the presentation for the best actor award went like this: "And the best actor for 2008 is.....SENATOR bong revilla!"

    also,

former president joseph estrada, a former action star, found time to cut a CD of love songs whilst in the highest office in the land!

believe me, pac can get elected in may and he'll have time aplenty for training camp for a september date with floyd.

In the buildup to a rematch no one in the boxing world wanted to see, and taking fights no more frequently than twice a year, Floyd takes two years off because, well... Just because. Comes back and delays his Summer match against Marquez for reasons he won't even tell anyone, and comes into the fight over the agreed upon catchweight limit.

Manny, in that period of time, has been in with some of the best in the world, consistently took on the role of the underdog, took on a true Welterweight who Floyd supposedly avoided for years, beat him soundly and wants to postpone the fight to let his eardrum heal and pursue politics for his COUNTRY.

Of course, what a ****ing ***** :patsch

Pacquiao does not have a broken eardrum. ACCORDING TO ARIZA, Pacquiao suffered a minor ("very mild") cartilage injury in training, and then it ruptured during the fight. Cartilage. Not eardrum. Huge difference

I am a pacquiao fan, but there is more time for Politics.
