Manny Pacquiao knows exactly what Miguel Cotto is undergoing.

Having done the same thing before, Pacquiao pointed out that the weight reduction the Puerto Rican is doing may play a crucial role in the outcome of their World Boxing Organization (WBO) welterweight championship bout a week from now.

Aside from sweating it out, Pacquiao said Cotto also needed to lessen his food intake for him to go down at the desired catch weight of 145 pounds.

And the effort, according to him, is really going to be very demanding.“Mahirap talaga `yung hindi ka kakain. Malaking epekto `yun pag-dating sa fight, especially kung dikdikan ang laban. Disadvantage talaga pag nagre-reduce ka," he said. Which to me confirms that they want a weight drained cotto thats why the fight was made at 145 instead of 147 which i see manny easily making...he siad himself that he doesnt really need to cut so much weight because he can eat full meals without worrying about weight...so 147 shouldve been the weight that this title fight shouldve been made at...im gonna say pac in 4:fire

Cotto signed the contract and agreed to it, if he loses its his fault.

Cotto should come in at 147 if he needs to and pay the fine, he should look at it as an investment!

Mayweather did it and so should Cotto, if needed.

so you want cotto to do a "mayweather" and cheat the contracted weight? :patsch

he came in @ 146 last time and already said that he'll make the weight easy... pac's camp is just playing mind games.

a FIGHTER KNOWS HIS BODY.....If Roach is so sure he'd knock him out in one round, why stress a catch weight. Whether the weight is contracted or not it was still a welterweight fight, he paid his fine and the fight went on. Mayweather hasnt fought in 2 years he probably struggled with the
    weight.

im not nervous u ****** read my other post and see that i have pac winning in 4 b4 this article came out...ive been saying this **** for the longest..**** the contracted weight and come in at 147...no fighter should put his title that he won at his weight on the line and then drain himself to make boxing pundits happy and give a guy a chance to make history by beating him....

Did you know: every time Roach or one of Manny's camp say Cotto won't make the weight, Cotto gains a pound. Roach's voodoo is very powerful.

roach is predicting ko because he knows what the **** he is doing...as much hate as freddie gets the man is a mastermind in getting ppl to feed into this smaller man fighting the bigger man but pac can easily make 147 and 145 and cotto will have a tough time coming in prime condition cutting the weight while pac is looking like a machine...come weigh in you will see the difference in pacs body and cottos

:deal If he is the best pound for pound he dont need to fight Cotto at a catchweight, hope Cotto drains himself to make history. To me this is bull****, but I take my hat off the Arum and Roach, they got alot of people fooled.
