Excuses have been here as soon as they announced the fight. Before announcing it these cockroaches were saying Pac will be too scared.

As soon as it was signed, COTTO IS SHOT GUYS, Cotto will be drained(yet magically wasn't drained making the SAME weight fighting Clottey), Cotto is old, Cotto has been in far too many wars(one of the funniest, yeah the Judah fight is a war too), Cotto's uncle poisoned him, Cotto is not Mexican.

    What am I missing?

Cotto is no one's setup, this is a tough fight and one that Pac CAN lose if he goes in careless. Cotto is not a scrub who will follow a "lose" script, Cotto goes in there to win and if he loses then he will make sure you rip him apart to finally accept it. Margarito was hitting him with plaster in his ass and gloves from round one to twelve, if it was Cintron or someone else they would have hit the canvas as soon as possible and no one can blame them when their oversized tomato can of an opponent needs to cheat to look good against smaller guys he made a career calling out and losing to.

Listen, Manny was a flyweight at 15 years old. Miguel Cotto was also a flightweight at that age. In fact, at that age he lost an amateur fight to Ivan Calderon.

cotto was the one who offered the 145 weight limit. :patsch

it goes both ways... if he thinks he can't be at top shape @ a certain catchweight then why bother, he should fight people his own size and stop picking on midgets.

STFU is not so cool these days. The guy is giving you some valid arguments even if you don't share his opinion.

It takes two to tango, moron. If these guys don't agree to a catchweight, all they have to do is refuse it and there is no fight. Why blame Pac if these guys are willing to fight him given the conditions set in the contract which they willingly signed? You're just one Johnny-Come-Lately interloper questioning the bilateral agreement between the two boxers.

even miguel cotto himself said there would be no problem making 145 since he was 146 in his last fight and there was a 1 day where he did nothing. yet some pussies here are complaining again in behalf of cotto.

Pac was a SF more than a year ago... how many years has been cotto a welter?

Nobody even thought of this fight happening and even more on pac winning just a year ago. pac weight in 138 in his last fight, cotto 146.... see the size difference?

By circus I mean breaking every boxing rule. When was the last time you saw a challenger setting up the rules to challege the champion. I see this as a 50/50 chances fight. Miguel Cotto is not that much bigger than Manny. He was, a couple of years ago. But MAnny has put on at least 20 lbs of muscle since then. Manny is looking more ripped now at 142-144 than he ever looked at 130.

That's normal, Cotto was coming off a serious loss and against Clottey he was cut too early and that ruined his performance. One loss and he's shot?, don't think so. They're taking this fight because it guarantees action and is a risky fight.

If anyone thinks Pac doesn't take serious challenges then these guys must have mental issues. Pac is all about dangerous fights and plans to run after Mayweather if all goes well against Cotto.

You know you're talking about an ATG in Pacquiao when the majority are taking Cotto as a tune up for him, that explains how good Pac is and we all know Cotto is NO ONE's tune up.
