it's funny that jmm-barrera only managed 220k ppv buys, the same PPV numbers as the pac-solis fight. pac-barrera, on the other hand, got 350k PPV buys. so, we definitely know who's the better draw between pac and jmm. :deal

By no means do I beleive The Baby Bull is an easier fight, but the bottom line i they agreed in principle, and now Pac's backing out. Ppl were blaming JMM before the article came out, and now that they see JMM isn't looking for parity, and the spilt is a very fair 57-43 w/the challenger get the higher % of the purse they're making excuses as to why he should get even more, and other BS excuses for Pac!

I think Pac loses to the Baby Bull badly, JMM unifies at 130lbs, and Pac comes down w/his tail between his leg hoping for a fight w/JMM. He'll losing his bargaining power, and JMM will leave him hanging if he comes w/some nonesense!!

jmm isn't the lineal champ at 130. it is vacant w/ pac being rated #1 and jmm #2. and it is jmm that will not be remembered 10 years from now if he doesn't get that mega-fight w/ pac. pac can even enhance his legacy as an ATG if he manages to beat juan diaz.

jmm, on the other hand, may even end up not making the HOF w/o that pac fight much less being remotely considered as an ATG.

Regain glory? i think its JMM who needs some redemption after that what happened to him in idonesia. Pac just beat MAB again and shut up the critics... JMM beat pac in your eye's and in other pac hater's eyes.

Pac already made his mark in boxing history... JMM needs this fight more than PAC, not to mention he wants his biggest paycheck coz he knows he's not getting any younger. Fighting bigger champions in lightweight will solidify PAC's ATG status and not by beating an old mexican.

hmm... so, pac was spanked in a 115-113 fight, more than half of which he fought with a bloody gash above his eye caused by a morales head butt... :-( :patsch

Read up and keep up Enzo. There's another thread w/the article in it so go look!

As to your question, I don't believe it to be a real question, but an excuse and a mirage for some Pac Huggers to explain his ducking him!

Here's your ans...JMM and Pac have unfinished business. JMM isn't coming off a loss like the last two old mexicans were. He has a hell of alot more in he tank than those other two mexicans. He's a Champion, and some can say the division Champion at 130lbs.

Now that I answered, how can you watch him fight all these guys after they've lost, some guys just totally washed up and call them big wins, and then say he doesn't merit anything fighting the only guy he couldn't get by, and the biggest challenge to him at 130lbs?

    Pls explain that!!!

    ..................I'll wait!!!

Let me explain that Pac has a great shot at beating Marquez but Marquez also has a great shot at beating Pac. If Pac moves up and beats D. Diaz it will be his biggest mistake because like Taylor with Pavlik he will be forced to fight Juan and will get a bad beating. On the other hand if Marquez stays at 130 there is no one there to beat him except maybe Velero. He is all ready considered a ATG Mexican fighters and has been followed by real boxing fans as a P4P elite for a long time. He really doesnt need Pac but it would be nice to dispose of him.

No you look for it... and show it to me. :hey

As for the unfinished business... well unfortunately fir JMM he missed the the bus he should have fought PAC before and accepted the equal purse. PAC's name is bigger than ever as for him... he's still looking for his first 7 figure pay.

As for the legacy aspect... let me quote myself in the other thread coz nobody was able to give their response to it.

jmm is over-rated as an elite p4p fighter. the only elite fighter that he has ever beaten is a faded barrera. on the other hand, pac has defeated elite fighters like sasakul, ledwaba, barrera (2x) and morales (2x). actually, jmm first reached the top 10 p4p list w/ that draw vs. pac. pac was rated @4 while jmm @5 during that time. jmm fell out of the top 10 with lackluster wins against B to C level opponents after the pac fight and the loss to john.

then out of nowhere, jmm suddenly becomes #3 p4p with a lackluster win vs. a faded barrera. this coincides w/ GBP buying Ring and jmm being a GBP boxer.

I agree... JMM is a very skilled boxer but he's kinda over-rated in the P4P rankings.
