Pac-Margarito isn't as easy as some are making it...

Pacquiao would probablly beat him worse then Mosley did if possible.

I believe the wizard of oz was exposed for the Mosley fight and thus Margo shouldn't be taken seriously as a challenge to any world-class fighters.

He needs a couple of nice wins over legitimate opponents to have any credibility with me.

margo is a *** and nothing without his brick gloves. Pac would beat the **** out of him. And if Arum thought Margo had even a half chance at winning he would make sure margo understood his role was to loose this fight.

 

True, but last time I checked, every single thread of Pac or Floyd, the other one is mentioned surely mentioned. :deal

 

Easy to say after he got beat by the much better fighter in Shane. Not to take anything away from Shane, but anybody who says Margarito was the same that night is insane. Who knows what was playing in his head at that time because he knew he was gonna get his license revoked or probably banned for life.

Call me anything you want but I'll take Margarito (and PW) anytime against Floydie. The volume of their punches may not land well, but will not give Floyd any room to even set up anything. Margarito's chin will make up for his lack of defense and might just do what he did to Cotto.

 

That's the same mistake he did with the Cotto fight, he tought he was an easy fight and see the results; he was trying to set the the Cotto - PBF fight

 

i'll go ahead and say it.... i Think Margarito beats pac.

the very very little amount of pressure clottey put on pac troubled him.

 

i understand the "**** margo" sentiment. and yeah he probably doesnt deserve the payday or the shot at pac. but just to play along here...

when you are the aggressor and moving forward, your shots have more pop on them. when your opponent is having to move backwards or laterally while throwing, typically the shots don't have as much pop on them. cotto hit margo flush all night but he was being bullied backward to the ropes/corner and was either throwing while up against the ropes or while sliding out of the corner so they didnt affect margo much. mosely was coming forward. he hits hard as **** as it is combined with the fact he was moving forward...

clottey stood there against pac. didnt impose his size and strength. didnt back pac up, etc. he just stood there and wore it. margo will just keep walking forward and keep throwing. pac will tag him all night but margo will be the one walking forward. this is why it will not be a walk in the park.

again, pac will win but this would actually be very interesting to see how he would deal w/ someone who will just keep coming. i remember steward commenting during the mosely/margo fight that margo just doesnt know how to tie up b/c he's never been in that kind of a position before. well would pac do what mosely did and get off and get inside? would he just try to move and box like cotto did and hope his stamina and chin hold up?

pretty interesting, really.

I don't get it.

Did Mosley crack Margarito's chin, or does Margarito have the chin that all of Pac's previous opponents lacked.

 

Judging by what unfolded against Clottey, Pac has the stamina to match Margo's workrate for 12 rounds.

Juts my two cents, Clottey lasted the distance by keeping his hands up, no more. Margo, although much more offensive minded and dangerous, has an average defense and is there to be hit. It just a matter of whether Mosley really ruined his confidence on his chin or Pac really does pack the same amount of power to knock Margo out.
