This. Thats how the first fight played out and it was made worse by Mannys shoulder injury. Floyd wont engage Manny at any point and Manny will lose and after the fight he will again go on about how he felt he won. Manny somehow thinks that Floyd is coming to fight. He is not. He is there to stay safe and cash a check.

 

There are a large group of people that feel this way and little do they realize that even if Floyd came back and lost itd be irrelevant now. If manny beat floyd now so what? I hate floyd but i cant say his win over manny is pointless and then turn around and give manny credit for beating floyd now. Theyre both pushing 40 and not the fighters they were a decade or even 5-6 years ago when the fight shouldve happened.

 

Just as there is a real desperation in other threads to see GGG lose and Wilder lose. The place is overflowing with that stuff.

 

I'd rather watch a Manuel Charr fight marathon that go through that sh!t again.

Indeed. I've given Wilder plenty of **** of the last year or so but that's because I think he's not been willing to fight the top guys in his division available to him. If could steamroll everybody for all I know, the annoying thing is we're fairly deep into his career and still aren't anywhere knowing if he's the real deal.

Golovkin however has been done over by his peers IMO. He also made a big mistake with the promoters he picked and it has cost him dearly. He's the only champion I can think of who has his mandos looking to duck him. It's really silly and sad that if he wants to make a decent fight that he has to bend over backwards to do so.

I wish the CSAC had indicted him & it got to court He'd have OWNED them would have made him a very rich man. All the CSAC did was suspend his license to box in Ca. State Commissions are todays Mafia & most are just as crooked

The CAS has a long and proud history of overruling sports commissions that overstep the mark. I'd suggest you look into them before you run off at the mouth again.

He could have also pursued a case against the State Commission in a civil court for damages if they as you claim they did. He didn't which says a lot.

Apologies for shattering any illusions you had about Margarito's options post the Mosley fight but someone had to.

 

Tony & his advisors did what they thought best I guess But when commissions do what the CSAC did & also what the NSAC did in the Mayweather IV scandal they make up their own rules

Margarito took the course of action a guilty person looking to minimise their punishment would do. He had options but saw the punishment as a decent outcome. Now having talked a big game previously would you like to refute the logic of what I've said? Why would his advisers think it's better to be branded a cheat forever? Why would they take a ban that prevented the lucrative fights you claim he was in line for when there was another very realistic option that would clear up the whole mess?
