2. That's the reason why he gets knocked out by marquez. He learned his lesson. And as you notice in the rios fight, he barely punch when on 10sec warning sound.
Pac threw 800 punches vs Rios, 1200 against Clottey, and Clottey was the bigger man. He's definitely more cautious.
It's Brandong F'ing Rios. It didn't prove a thing except that Pacquiao is not completely shot to ****. Because if that fight would have been competitive in any shape or form, that is exactly what it would have meant. Rios has no business being in the same ring as Manny. The outcome was predetermined if Pacquiao was even 80% of his usual self. If anybody actually gave Rios any kind of chance before the fight, they are a F'ing idiot.
1. nobody beats father time... 2. im kinda glad he lost the killer instinct somewhat...thats what got him the lost against jmm... 3. pac learned a lot against the jmm ko....a reckless manny of years ago would get countered to hell by pbf...a disciplined manny??? i think he has a shot..... 4. cmon man rios is atleast a B- fighter.....
I agree. It would actually sell with a decent undercard and both fighters have something to prove. I was NOT impressed with Manny's showing. As well as he did, that was an easy matchup for him and I expected more. He should have attacked the body more. WAAAY more.
I remember watching Acosta making Rios look like a fool in the first few rounds, looking like Pernell Whitaker until he slowed down from ther mid rounds. I do not think Pac is a slick fighter, it is just that it is easy for him to like that one against the likes of Rios, Margarito, Clottey and past prime Hoya.
JMM loses a close one to Bradley(who has a win over Pac) and he is irrelevant but Manny beats Rios (who is coming off a loss)and suddenly he's on top of the world. This is Pacland baby P.S. Roach, Pac and Arum still want a piece of the 40 year old guy who KTFO Manny:deal
