I think he handles Pac easily. I'd favour Martinez to beat Floyd at 154. Martinez could definitely knock Floyd out. He has a bigger reach than Floyd. He goes into that fight with the tools to cause Floyd big problems.

    Pacquiao fan.

Notice its overwhelming majority of Pacquiao fans, floyd haters and *******s who are saying they dont wanna see the fight.

Casuals, Floyd fans and fans of boxing cant wait for the fight to be made.

What? I said "I won't be watching" which you translated into "Jack thinks nobody will watch".

    Odd.

++ (as well as other recent posts..)

The worst is that Mayweather love boys somehow twist this (May's ducking of Pac and Pac's lackluster JMM performance) as some sort of victory for May... It's really not... If anything, it demonstrates that May would probably have indeed won a Pac vs May fight. But the point is that it never happened. So even if May would probably have won, he didn't, because they were fought, mostly, imho, because Floyd was too scared to fight Pac.

Now that Pac has almost lost to JMM, it's not a victory for Fraud... Quite the contrary, it pretty much ruined the megafight between Pac and Fraud. What kind of idiotic gay "wants to get butt****ed by Mayweater" fan sees this as a victory for Gayweather??? :huh

Or I guess, they always saw it as a rivalry between Fraud and Pac, and now that Pac has looked bad vs JMM and Fraud is back to #1 (according to yahoo's last list), Mayweather has won? What kind of ****ing stupid moronic boxing fans are we dealing with here?

Soon to be May 5th when he knocks out Pacquiao.

You however are a Haye fan. Haye on the biggest fight of his life gave you a bad toe.

Yeah actually I don't think they even want the fight. I think they just want Mayweather on the #1 P4P list, and that's all that matters...

Mayweather fans have been saying for ages that Manny cant deal with right hand counter punchers.

Just because you dont know **** about boxing and thought Manny was unbeatable because he knocked out some Top Rank hype jobs, dont place you're inability to understand the sport on us.

There were plenty of Mayweather fans predicted that what happened that night would happen.

Next time dont nut hug a flawed fighter. :good

I'd have to reluctantly agree with you on Pac... sigh... Sadly, I think Pac is just too small for Floyd...

vs Martinez, I agree Martinez is much better physically suited to deal with Floyd and I'd probably put my money on him, but I think he's being hyped a little too much... It would be close, maybe max 60% for Martinez.... But yeah, reach would play a huge role, why I'd give Pac a very small chance of winning...

I think this is about right.

You have to understand: For some people, boxing -- or any other sporting activity or remotely competitive activity -- becomes something they invest heavily in emotionally. So, it's no longer "just a fight," it becomes personal and "their guy" has to win, in order for them to feel good about themselves or their life.

The athlete, then, becomes something of a proxy for the fan. Kind of a representative of the fan, if you will.

Now, if you look at Mayweather and his fans, many felt Floyd was the unquestioned "guy" in the sport until Pacquiao took his throne and Mayweather may or may not have ducked Pacquiao after Pac beat Cotto.

So, to this kind of fan, any kind of "victory" that puts Mayweather back "above" Pacquiao is a welcome one. In that sense, it's not about what is a good sporting event -- or if the two fighters are past their prime, etc -- it can become an important 'personal' achievement by proxy.

This kind of thinking is a lot more widespread than you may think. I get it, I do. But I also try to step back and look at the thing objectively. Pac has looked bad lately, Floyd isn't any younger or getting any better. It's just not the fight it once was, and that's too bad.

Yet the fighter himself didn't want to face Pac in the ring... Go figure!

So why was Fraud scared of fighting Pac then? Why did he ***** out of the fight using BS like drugtesting and the such? Again, your idol Mayweather's own action disproves your claims.

Yet MayFlower himself would not take the fight! Crazy huh? He should have beat that asian midget in the ring instead of making racist videos about him! :hi:

Well as far as I know, Gayweather never beat Pacquiao, so until he does, your claims that "he would easily beat him" are just your ***** claims... I might not disagree with your opinion that he would win, and that's only after watching the JMM fight, but they haven't fought. Gay didn't beat Pac. That's fact. He was too scared to face him in the ring. Which is a shame... If JMM could defeat Pac, and most will agree he did in their last fight, Fraud should have won easily. Yet, for some reason Fraud was too scared.

JMM fought Pac, with no olympic style drug testing, and beat Pac. Gayweather or Gayweather fans can't make such claims about Mayweather. So stfu now plz. :deal

What do you want me to say? That Mayweather isn't a good fighter?

I rate Mayweather highly. I just see no reason to be a fan of his.
