Size does matter, but it definitely doesn't bridge the gap in boxing much. I mean look at Valuev in boxing. The dude is actually a boxer (not an MMA fighter..The man has trained for boxing for many years specifically), and he's like 7 foot tall, 340 pds. He got beat by David Haye moving up from CW, and weighing like 220. Though the fight was boring as could be, and I dislike Haye...A man rocked, and beat his opponent who outweighed him by 120 pounds!! MMA is the same example. Cro Cop beating a huge looking beast like Bob Sapp for example. Shows you in combat that a lot of skill is a hell of a lot better than a lot of size. I'd take Pac's skills (with his 147 pd frame) any day over looking like Bob Sapp. I'd take Fedor's skill (and his blah of a body) over being as strong as Pudz...
It's not out of the question. Pacs speed and footwork and accuracy far exceeds what GSP can handle in boxing. He will definitely get a standing 8 count if he rushes him and a stoppage is possible.
You don't know **** about boxing. His footwork was garbage. What head movement were you refering to? He drops his hands when he punches...etc.etc... Pac knocks him out probably in the first round.
But hang on, Valuev is a light punching punchbag, Haye on the other hand is a quick explosive guy. It's not the same kinda comparison between Pac and GSP. Both are strong athletic guys with speed, one has great offensive boxing ability, the other has good boxing fundamentals but isn't anything special as a boxer. That being said, GSP isn't a sitting duck with no cardio, no speed and will be a live opponent who outweighs pac by a good 40lbs on fight night. and he is 5ft 10 with more reach. Are you seriously telling me pac would be in no trouble in this fight? Granted his offensive ability pisses all over GSP, but how the **** is he going to take shots from a big strong guy who will be the equivalent of a light heavyweight or a small cruiserweight. I actually think stylewise Mayweather has a far better chance against the bigger MMA fighters because of his defensive skills being superior to pac and is himself that bit bigger. Pac will get hit against some of these guys, and I wouldn't like to see the results if that happened.
rainmaker, please go to a boxing gym for once in your life. Stop rollin around like a gay homosexual and try to fight FOR REAL for once in your life, and you will change your tune.
Pac isn't immune from getting hit, what happens when he does? Mayweather on the other hand, is better at avoiding punches and has a better skill set. Pac may be able to dish it out, debatable if he can hurt some of these guys and will not be able to take shots when he gets hit hard. It's not rocket science!
You should ask that guy if he thinks an MMA fighter could compete with Olympic Tae Kwon Do fighters in Tae Kwon Do? If he thinks that MMA fighters can best Olympic level Greco Roman wrestlers in Greco Roman wrestling? If he thinks that MMA fighters can out strike professional Muay Thai champions in a Muay Thai competition?
Let me set one thing straight here, p4p or a bit of weight difference here and there it's no c contest for a boxer who has homed his skills for many many years in a single discipline, but when you start talking stupid, fighting bigger athletic and mobile guys at a wayyy higher weight and start saying things like, oh pac KO in 1 etc etc are talking ****. Granted your run of the mill bigger mma fighter will get beat up on. But some of the better guys who will have a massive weight advantage will most likely do some damage. so lets be clear what I am saying here.
You really don't know what you're talking about. You're obviously oblivious to Pac's counterpunching ability. Please, stick to your gay homosexual wrestling.
Ffs rainmaker, GSP would be flat on his back inside the first minute of a boxing match with Pac. Pac by destruction. GSP cannot handle the skills, speed and power of a Pac Attack in the ring. GSP woudln't know what the **** was going on and what hit him. Pac would blitz him into a coma.
