I like Khan but it is becoming increasingly more difficult to defend him. I thought he might push on a bit after the Alexander fight but he's completely pissed away any momentum. How hard is it to make a competitive fight at welterweight? He's just after the big paydays now and he ain't getting anymore now the Pacquiao fight is off. He probably won't be back in the ring until the end of the year.

Yes the inactivity is costing Khan..

But I don't see this as a problem for getting the big fights, surely Thurman Spence Brook see Khan as good reward low risk fights..

Amir Khan has basically been trying to retire for the past few years, his mother and wife hate him fighting on. Maybe this is why he's trying to get that career defining fight. Its just embarrassing how he doesn't see that you have to earn these opportunities....
