Who really cares? Its random so it could be 3 weeks before the fight. Thats why Pacquiao needs to step it up and accpet random testing till the fight because who knows, it could stop before 14 days like he was wanting.
Did you know that a second negotiation took place after that? Even Greenburg was wondering why Floyd took a vacation instead. And do you know that Floyd said this? "I lost the urge to fight, I'm taking a vacation" And do you know that Arum has been trying to call Floyd's camp for another set of negotiation after that. Oh in case you forgot... Roger recently said "Floyd will not fight Pacquiao next." And Floyd also said this "I never said that, please don't put words into my mouth" It seems all you know was way back 2009.
Well of course I dont care, its a damn drug test. The only people it really matters too are Pacquiao fans or people that actually think Mayweather used the test to duck the fight it shouldnt even be mentioned, take a test and thats it
You know I get Pac fans defending Pac and the PED thing. In reality he shouldn't be forced to do anything. As a floyd fan, I don't think Pac is on PEDs and I don't think floyd fans should focus much of their energy hating on Pac the fighter. I really think he's insulated from any criticism for his or his camps part in this fight not happening. He has the court of public opinion for a number of reasons: 1. There is a stereotypical view of Asians that are passive and harmless. 2. Add to the fact that Floyd is loud and for all his business saavy and brilliance in the ring, he has said and done some flat out ignorant **** to reinforce some black stereotypes. On top of that, I think he's gotten to the point where he's comfortable being hated and loved. Naseem Richardson made a good point about floyd's boxing style and how it relates to selling fights. If Floyd didn't talk big ****, be mad disrespectful before the fight, he couldn't do the numbers he consistently does in PPV. Only fans of boxing would appreciate him. 3. Arum. Say what you want about Arum (I can't stand the guy), but he is to promoting as Mayweather is to boxing. He knows exactly what he's doing, what he's saying and who he's saying it to and how far what he says will travel. He's a politician. A poster mentioned PBF backing off the up to the fight demand and said 14 days right before Arum walked out of negotiations. There have been a series of things that Arum has stategically set up to keep this fight from happening. Floyd isn't completely innocent. But I think had Arum not walked away from 14 days and kept negotiating the fight would have happened with either 14 days or something in between 14 and 21. I believe the OST was something to **** with Pac like the weight penalty and gloves. But after the Mosley fight, Floyd pretty much got into **** it mode and wanted it all. My point is this fight not happening is 90% Arums fault and this he's scared he's ducking **** is lame and annoying to hear. Mosley had to get out of his contract with GBP to fight Pac. this is just how boxing is. We all know it. Yet we sit up and talk about guys who risk their lives every time they get in the ring like they're pussies. It's ******ed.
All you did was ask me when did Floyd want to fight Pacquiao and I said March and broke it down, thats all. Now with those 2nd negoations im not surprised. If pacquiao turned down a fight once then I knew Floyd was gonna turn it down once. I knew that shiit was gonna happen because Pac left a great deal on the table in march. Now there 1-1 in Negoations so 3rd will happen if pac beats Marquez. but to be real Pacquiao never really agreed to random blood testing so thats why Floyd didnt pay attention to the 2nd time they tried to make the fight. ahh who cares im tired of talking about the same ****. Ravens-Jets game coming on im out
Great post!! :good:good This is how I feel. Arum is mostly to blame and Pacquiao anit gonna talk back so he does as he says. Plus if you look at it from his view, Mayweather can beat his biggest moneymaker and really stick to Arum and that would make Arum so made he might have a stroke, hence the reason I mostly think the fight hasnt happened
Yeah, i agree. The guy has a history of avoiding tough challenges while Floyd has always fought the best competition. Signed, Sarcasm
Pac is ready to fight Void, but Void refuses to fight Pac and that is a fact. By the way.............When if Void's trial for beating up a woman?
Why did you leave out the part of the contract that says blood testing all the way up to the day of the fight, you know, the kind of red-blood cell robbing blood testing that ZERO pro boxers have ever agreed to prior?
Since it's random like you say, what if they test Pac the day before the fight, like they did against Morales in their first meeting. We all know what happened. In case you don't, here you go... [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=X1Hd8g6eVMI[/ame] In case you say Floyd will take the same test, we all know Pac's fighting style would be affected more than Floyd should this happen.
