thats true they were just telling him im we're with you we're with you but well obviously its up to cotto to stick with the original game plan .. he was doing alright why need tactical advice when he didnt make a tactical error when he got knocked down how the hell can u see that puch n from those angels??? again mayweather, man it will be interesting manny is scary and the way he throws from everywhere, only floyd now should have the answer should be fast enough quick enough to see the punches and counter them, he's just that good anyone that says otherwise is delusional man .. mayweather should be able to just stick and move box pick him apart to a decision, unless he gets careless which has never happend, oh well we will hopefully find out

I agree with most you said, but I do think Cotto was sticking to the gameplan, which was to be the aggressor and hit pacman to the body.. listen to what Roach and manny said about their gameplan...

I think They wanted Cotto to gain confidence and be on the attack.. they purposely started slow to lure Cotto in...In the second round Pacman began to land flush on Cotto and you can see a change in the fight then... Cotto's face was already ****ed up

Pacman knew he would take punishment in this fight... cotto is no Hatton or DLH... Pacman just spent 8 weeks of training camping fighting much bigger aggressive sparring partners, he was ready to go to war.

I would say that Cotto was in Control of what was happening in the ring for no more than a few minutes of that fight.

And finally just resorted to bouncing around the outside throwing his solid left jab... (basically keeping the smaller man away from him)

I see what u mean. I should've rephrased. His gameplan was to come out with smart agression. Being agressive with the jab, chasing Manny with the jab to set everything else up. After the knockdown he resorted to foolish agression, he rushed in at some points and abandoned the jab. His punches got wider and wider, and Pac fit 3-4 shots in there every time. Your right they lured him in, he underestimated Manny's chin as well. He wanted to avenge that knockdown and he completely abandoned his sound boxing.

I thought he forced that right hand a few times after the knockdowns, more foolish agression, and it simply wasn't fast enough to avoid the Manny counter.

:good:good:good I agree, this fight is a waste of time. I can see it now... Manny chasing Floyd like :bbb:bbb and Floyd dancing around the ring like :hammertime:blah Then Manny running into punches like:ko Then the crowd is gonna be like :zzz Then Floyd will win by the decision and be like :finger and everybody will feel like:shock: and I'll be like:rofl:rofl:rofl. The end.

I think you hit it on the head. Rather than keep his disciplined attack up, Cotto got into those wild exchanges with Pac that Pac just does not lose.

I agree, Pac will never beat Floyd because Floyd will never fight Pac. He is just too scared to fight Pac now!
