Hats off to Pac, but I'm so pissed Gayweather will cherry pick another fight. They should not fight! Pac should handle his business at 135/140. Gayweather should fight real threats. Manny beating a shot Oscared proves nothing in respects to the welterweight division. Pac cannot beat AM, Cotto, Clottey, Williams, or Berto.
Quit dreaming Kush. Oscar fought Manny for two reasons, 1. money and 2. He knew he was shot (as evidence by the Forbes fight). Fighting any of the top welters or light middles was too risky so he reached very low, and it blew up in his face. Beating a shot Oscared is still quite an accomplishment for Manny, and he deserves all the accolades, however it proves nothing for the remainder of the top 6 or 7 welters.
never say never, especially when pac is concerned. that's what all of us (fans and haters alike) should take away from tonight's fight. pac finds a way to win even with overwhelming odds stacked against him. the guy fights his best when he's the clear underdog just like in the sasakul, ledwaba, barrera 1 and now, the dlh fights.
The Forbes fight was not all that long after the PBF DLH fight... so that means PBF won a SD in a close fight against a pretty much Shot DLH
Um the Forbes fight was a 1 year after the PBF fight. Which meant, DLH balooned to a ****ing pig and then lost all that weight which I think made him old faster.
Someone mentioned here that Oscar was shot in the Sturm fight..Floyd, Forbes, Manny all fought a shot Oscar..Why did you think Roach knew Oscar was shot?? from the Floyd fight! He trained him! One difference though is that MAnny mopped the floor with a shot fighter like it should be.
Manny put a decisive ass beating on Gay la Hoya...something Gayweather's ***** ass was unable to do. Pacquiao takes Floyd IMO....especially given that Floyd hasn't fought in a year.
