You're entitled to your opinion but no way. Maidana would get beat up. He's not even that big, a blown up LWW. How has Canelo shown to be a better boxer? Because he beat Trout? The only thing Canelo has is size. Pac's pressure, speed and footwork would overwhelm him. Marquez beats him because he's an ATG skilled counter puncher, Maidana and Canelo ain't. The only reason you hype these guy's as great is because Mayweather fought them. If Manny was fighting Maidana before Mayweather struggled with him you'd be calling it a cherry pick on the level of Rios - which it would be, they're a similar caliber of fighter.
We have yet to see if Canelo is the real deal, but he's shown promise. Lara will be a real test. Marquez is an ATG. My take on the Maidana fight, I thought Mayweather looked unmotivated, not hungry anymore. Maidana fought his heart out and fought dirty, he made Floyd uncomfortable and he had the over hand right that Floyd struggles with (so much for southpaws). With that said, in a rematch, I favor Floyd to win 9-3 or even 10-2.
Canelo has pretty quick hands, but not as fast as Pacquiao's, and he's not fast on his feet. He also gets flustered by any sort of angles, which Pacquiao can give him and doesn't have very good defense. He's got a puncher's chance against Pacquiao, but that's it. I think Pacquiao would likely stop him late.
yeah pac will stick and move but its not that easy. cuz if it were that easy pac would stick and move vs JMM. its pacs human nature to want an agressive fight. he loves to get wreckless and take chances even vs margs he was very offensive and on the attack even though he was backin up.. but when he fires off he does come at you. by stick n move i think u mean just box all night and his heart is too much against it at times. however vs rios and margs he was boxing them. n thats cuz there simply one dimensional fighters and there is blue print on beating them i doubt pac can just use his speed n make it look easy vs canelo. the fight will never happen any ways tho.

first off canelo has to beat lara. if he beats lara then the fight vs pac needs to happen asap cuz i have a feelin canelo will move up to 160 sooner then later. n the only chance of pac/canelo is 154
