I agree Pac outgrew his body from teenage years to a certain extent, however take a look at his body. Those muscles isnt natural weight, thats extra pounds he put on to first come up in weight to 126 chasing MAB and then more pounds to come up to 130 chasing Morales. His getting older so naturally his body gets bigger too, different for everyone. Take a look at Duran, prime weight was LW but he was a legitimate MW champ.

Would you say that PBF & Pac are technically nearly the same weight cos if fight night weighins? If that were so Floyd should be able to make 130lb...id bet the house he couldnt. The guy is alot bigger than Pac despite what the fight night weighins say.

 

Yes, but PBF trains year round to keep his weight near fight night levels. Pacquiao doesn't. That does have an effect on your body and the weights you can make and can't. If PBF didn't train, he would weight 155 or so on fight night.

That's why I present you my Perspective. You are always Blinded by the perceive Greatness of SRL & Hearns. The true Great is Duran & Hagler. Duran makes his Legend at 135. Hagler the undisputed Middleweight & ducked by Fighters for years, That's include SRL.

SRL make a name because of his Olympic Gold & his spectacular handspeed. Beating Benitez just makes him a Champ for the 1st time. Just like Pac beating Sasakul for his 1st title. He just lucky Duran seek more Greatness to fight at 147. You can degrade his win over Duran easy coz Duran is the Older & the Smaller guy coming. You can compare this to DLH win over smaller & Older legendary Chavez. SRL ducks AARor Pryor too in all his might.

Hearns is a little overrated too. Beaten by Pryor in tha Amateur. He just have a Spectacular run towards his Championship with the String of KOs, Kinda Valero of today but with better opponents & much better exposure on TV. Beating Cuevas is nothing special coz he has 7 loses in his resume already. He's the perceived Tyson & Pacman on this Era but with lesser name on his resume going with his SRL duel. He makes his Legend with his win ,again, with the smaller & Older Duran & former SRL victim Benitez. But he was always failed by his Glass Chin against a Good punchers & never avenge his loses. He also Ducks Pryor at welter.

Hagler Beating SRL are still disputed Nowadays. There's a Big question mark there. Did SRL ducks Hagler & wait till he's older??? Why not SRL take Hagler when both are in their Prime??? We could have a different results if this fight happened earlier.

Pac takes these top fighters Back to Back while moving up in weight & did it a Short span of time. No ducking & he wins spectacularly. And there's more Great fights for him on the line. Am I overrating him???

The Difference between Pac & the Duran is Pac has a Chiselled muscled physic at Higher weights than Duran's extra baggage on his belly when he moved up to middleweight. I believe Pac is more of a Hard worker than Duran in training. Pac hasn't lost his speed yet while Duran slows down as he moved up. But there's no doubt Duran is The greater Fighter among the Fav 4 in his era. He's just handicapped by size & age when he met those great fighters.

I say it again, The Boxers that turned my head to Boxing are Ali, SRL, Duran, Hearns, TYson & Now Pac. You know why??? Coz they are all great & Spectacular Fighters. There's a reason Why Pac was at #2 P4P & Why his Fight was a Draw & Always on PPV. Because he is not just an Ordinary fighter. He's one of the Greatest of this Generation.
