This was a no bearing fight..people just wanted to see if the first fight was a fluke...it wasnt, even got better for MAB the second time around because Pac got cautious. doesnt change PBF being number 1 and Pac num 2.

Anyone saying PAC is #1 P4P is a blind, bias, philipino nuthugger that shouldn't even post here due to their complete lack of knowledge of the sport. ****ing stupid.

    Mayweather is #1.

PAC is a VERY ****ING DISTANT #2.

So, does that mean pbf's lackluster SD win over "past his prime" ODH did more for him p4p, than Pacman's win "he was the aggressor" over "past his prime" Barrera.
    Were these 2 fights similar?
One being the aggressor and the other being defensive, only with different out-comes?
And if so, why shouldn't one be higher than the other? :conf

A big NO. He fought an old aging fighter on Barrera, no bearing to be considered a 1# p4p.

Here is a suggestion for you, do yourself and all of us a favor and stop watching boxing.

And for all you people jumping on Pacquiao's ass for his fight yesterday, please, Barrera didn't come to fight and Pacquiao didn't respect Barrera at all to even bother coming into the fight in good shape (144lbs on fight night???).. If Pacquiao fights Marquez, believe me Pacquiao will turn into the demon again because to tell you the truth Pacquiao fought at like 60% effort yesterday...Barrera was a sitting duck and he didn't even come to fight!

As for lb4lb, Yeah obviously Mayweather stays on top lb 4 lb, But Pacquiao is not a DISTANT #2...Pacquiaos performances over great great opposition has been amazing..And Floyd has been merely picking and choosing his opponents in a very safe manner and don't tell me he hasn't because he has gotten away with fighting B- B level fighters from the time he fought Castillo to the time he fought a washed up De La Hoya...Put it this way Mayweather and Pacquiaos last two opponents have been washed up over the hill fighters who need to retire, so their stock as far as lb4lb didn't grow for ****.

Pacman is NOT #1 now because Floyd still hasn't lossed to anyone and keeps putting up impressive decisions.

If Floyd looses to Hatton, then Pac becomes #1. If Floyd wins he becomes #1+. Hatton is a top 10 contender as well. MAB isn't well ranked right now.

Not yet because he didn't Knockout Barrera again which was expected. He tried in the 11th until barrera Fouled him.

Floyd need to lose or look bad in the win to be dethroned by the Ring Magazine.

But in my Book, Pac already is P4P #1. He's just not 100% last night. He's about 75% but still enough to dominate Barrera.
