Pacquiao isn't easy to catch standing still or moving in. He's always rolling the punches with direction changes, and when his opponents do land Manny is rarely if ever absorbing the full force of the shot. Pacquiao is perpetual motion, and he takes no chances when his opponents unload by clearing out for a reset. When Manny does come forward he does so with such force and speed pretty much nobody has the reflexes or gaul to even try to land anything fully loaded. They're too busy getting their heads knocked off with Manny's left anyway - much more important things do deal with. :rofl

Never read such long winded bull**** in a while. BTW did you notice how JMM controlled the trajectory of his uppercut so that the angle of his elbow is between 45 to 60 degrees. Its been said that its between those angles that the full potential of his uppercut is realized.

The right hand landed flush and hurt Pac.....had Marquez been a half step closer when unleaching the left, the shot would have felled Pac.

The force of the right hand by Marquez actually took Pac out of range for Marquez to follow up and land with authority with that left.

.....three punch combination by JMM, all clean shots....the video highlight being one of the main reasons Pac and his team are in no hurry to make it happen a 3rd time.

Not really facts.. Who said they were not interested in fighting JMM?
its just that they beat him already and wants to fight other fighters as well.

but yeah, I'd like to see the third part.:good

As a Marquez fan, I'm fine with it......and I've stated in this forum more than once that I'd prefer Marquez fight Hatton or Mayweather next......

.....preferably Hatton if he beats Pac!

i hate to break it to you, but, what you said, to parody my comments was totally, technically inaccurate. nothing i said is that technical and virtually anyone with a background in boxing--aside from inarticulate brawling--would understand what i mean and accept the logic that underscores it...even if they don't agree. and if they don't agree, they might have, say, a reason or justification. discussion is terrific. i am more than happy to discuss with people who disagree with me. however, goofy pot-shotting without reasonable dialogue only reflects poorly on your understanding of a sport that you choose to follow so closely as to post on message boards.

JMM hit him 3clean solid shots, but it only wobbled Pac..And it only took 1 clean shot for pac to take JMM down.....Thats the problem with Pacs opponents, they focus too much on his chin and not on the body...Hatton will attack Pacs body and we may see a different outcome....We'll see!!!:good

These days? Are you saying his last two opponents tried to outbox, outwork and outhustle PacMan?

I think to slot Pac into the puncher type is exactly the kind of thinking that got most of his opponents in trouble. Manny Pacquiao is more of a speedy pressure fighter with a really big punch. Guys who expect him to be the puncher type try to adjust on the fly when they find out he does not just go for that one big shot. When Pac lands his flurries, it feels very different from the typical pressure fighter because of Pac’s heavy hands.
