Top Rank’s Bob Arum, undoubtedly the most astute promoter in the business, has a May 2 date in Las Vegas for a megabuck fight between the Philippines national treasure Manny Pacquiao and Britain ’s Ricky “The Hitman” Hatton .........

I don't - I truly see Pacquiao bloodying Hatton's face inside of six rounds.

I dont understand why no one has suggested the fight being at the MEN arena, or Millennium Stadium (where they could get 80,000 people in). If as, Bob Arum apparently says, it cant be at wembley because there is a '90% chance of rain', that is again incorrect if its on in May time, there is definitely not a 90% chance of rain then. If there is a British and a Filipino fighter why does the bout have to be in America? Also it said it would have to be at 5am if it was in the UK, why? Can American fans not watch boxing earlier in the evening? Do they have to boxing late at night? And why do British have to watch fights at 4am and Filipino fans at 4pm. Its utter bollocks. The promoters have no regard for the fans.

It's the realy of the PPV market which would be HBO's main concern. Take this event away from HBO and I think we'll be getting what we want.
