It's true that Marquez holds the #1 spot at Lightweight but Pac holds the P4P #1 spot, so he's no joke either and definitely deserves more money for already beating him once. Beating Casamayor doesn't automatically make Marquez worth more money. If Pac beats DLH next after moving up two weight divisions in a fight not many give him a chance in then he's also worth way more, if Marquez wants to avenge a loss he neeeds to accept what he's offered.

Save the insults for yourself please, just proving the internet warrior point more and more. Stick to checking out what fighters do in bed, you seem to be better there than what they do in the ring.

I never said this wasn't the right approach but business-wise(since this sport is also a business) Pacquiao is obviously worth more, especially if he beats DLH in his next fight in a fight not many are giving him much of a chance in.

As far as not having more plans I'm pretty sure he has plans to move back down to 135 whether he wins or loses his next fight, if he loses then sure Marquez deserves more than what he's offered but if he wins and decides to move down and give Marquez a third fight then he's definitely worth more. Please note that Marquez is the one that needs Pac, Pac doesn't really need him and already holds a win over him.

You never know, if Pac defeats DLH next then he is worth more and if he doesn't then sure Marquez deserves more than that he's offered. In Pac's case he already beat the guy and doesn't really need him, it's the other way around and Marquez needs to accept it IF Pac beats DLH next.

I agree that this is the hottest fight in boxing right now and all depends on Pac's future plans after DLH, win or lose.

I think we might actually HAVE to root for Oscar De La Hoya if we want to see this fight happen.

then He would have to change his approach period. The fight last March at 130 is irrelevant, this is about who the man is at 135 period. I am pretty sure that JMM won't ask for something unaceptable. IMO both need each other.

 

If JMM won't ask for anything unacceptable then I have no doubts it will happen, if he prices his self out like he did after their first fight then it's not really Pac's fault. That's all I'm getting at here, especially if Pac wins his next fight and his stock goes up.
