There's a difference between pulling a Winky Wright and asking for a reasonable piece of the pie. I know everyone likes to talk like Manny is a superstar of epic proportions but his last fight against Diaz did less than 200,000 buys. Compare that to the 450,000-500,000 that his fight with Marquez did and you can easily argue that it takes two to make money.

You keep bringing up the same thing over and over, He didn't say what he said thinking after the Hoya fight, he said what he said because he thinks right now that JMM does not deserve big money period, and that's why I said that he has to change his approach.

Pac is thinking to give JMM less than what JMM got in March 15, even if he loses against Hoya. Do you get that? His message is clear, read it again.

135 is neck deep in talent and he is giving it all up for a chance to be turned around like a little ***** !

He is running away from a legitimate ass kicking is what I'm saying!

You know its funny how boxing fans are. You would think that after posting on this board for like three years that some of you would understand, BOXING IS A BUSINESS. Every fighter has made a business decisions instead of a boxing decision. And for those of you that think there are pure boxers left out there, please name them here:________________________(dont name anyone who is not a champion!)

Case and point. You guys loved oscar when he would take any fight and now bash him because he realized, Boxers have to eat too! You loved Floyd when he fought JCC the second time, but all you do is criticize him. Now PAC who is recoginized P4P #1, has beat quality opponents and now wants to get the big payday after 50 fights, and you talk **** about him. You guys are never satisfied. You love Margarito for his style but guess what he did the same damn thing and turned down a fight with a GUY that already whipped his ass.

Stop bitching about this!!!! Boxing is a business. Fighters dont get insurance, there is no 401K plan or fund set up for them when they have brain ailments after they retire (mickey ward). Even if its a mismatch, these fellows put their lives on the line everytime they step into the ring.

Katsidis and Amongst put on one of the best fights I have ever seen as far as nonstop action and guess what, Amongst now has a BRAIN HEMATOMA and at the age of 21 wont fight again. A boxer died a few months ago for a $10,000 paycheck that wouldnt even cover his funeral expenses.

Football is no fun because they took away the celebrations
Basketball sux because of David Stern and his dumb ass rules
    Baseball: steriods
MMA: Dana White is an *******
and Boxing doesnt always give me the fights I want.

Every damn sport has a problem and guess what, I check ESPN EVERY DAMN DAY, because I accept the fact that nothing is perfect.

Some of you should do the same. To Pacman, fix your personal life, but do what is best for you because I aint paying your bills.

I never said that he's a superstar of epic proportions just said that he might achieve such a status if he beats DLH next, meaning he will be worth more logically. They don't call a fight and a win over DLH like hitting the lottery for nothing.

I really don't think that his decision will remain the same if he loses to Hoya next, if he it does then sure I'll agree with you. Manny is just talking right now like he's going to win the DLH fight anyway, just a sign of confidence and nothing else. If he loses I assure you that this will change, if it doesn't then I'll be agreeing that he doesn't deserve it.

Yes he can do that and ask for more, but at this point in time and according to what Pac said (as per the thread starter) seems to be that Pac doesn't even want to give JMM what Marquez got back in March, at least that's what I understood from his message.

Whoever thinks Pacman is a fighter to be scared of challenges needs a reality check ASAP and his record is the proof, boxrec should be your friend here.

If anything his fight with DLH is looked at as money on DLH's side and a huge risk with money on Pac's side for obvious reasons. A man who agrees to move up two weight divisions above to fight a naturally bigger fighter in DLH isn't a man who is scared from challenges, not even close.

LOL It's somewhat funny, This time I'm the one who quoted you without believing you said something. I didn't mean to say that you're thinking Pac is a superstar of epic proportions. I'm saying a lot of boxing fans have that view of Pac. If Pac beats DLH obviously things change...but I'm 90% sure that that's not happening.

If he loses to DLH, there's no bigger fight than JMM at 135..but with Arum saying that everyone at LW is nothing special, Pac's top advisor saying that he won't be doing "small fights" anymore and Pac now saying that JMM would have to take a small package of money to prove how interested he is....I think we can see where this fight is going.

I feel like RJJ and Hopkins. I'm waiting for someone to start screamingabout 60/40.

Nothing but prediction with obvious signs of hate there. He already fougt him TWICE and beat him once, anyone even hinting that he's scared from him or wants no part of him must be drunk. Marquez is showing true P4P quality by asking for another fight over and over but till Pac is done with DLH we'll know if another fight will happen based on the situation both fighters will be in, really doubt he's scared from a man he fought TWICE already, that's all I'm saying.

The one biased here is clearly you, I'm stating some serious points about both fighter's situations and all you do is fire back with obvious hate.

    Saw that coming. :good

Well you make some good points, I can't fully agree and I can't fully disagree there. I think only time will answer, I have a feeling that this fight MIGHT be considered by Pacquiao whether he beats or loses to DLH, the money issue will soften up IF he loses to DLH in my opinion but if he wins it will remain the same. All will depends on what other options Pac will have after his fight with DLH(if he wins).
