A real Mismatch, Berto is what I would Call "Young Mosley-Lite", Has incredible Hand speed like a young Mosley and loves to fight BUT has a poor chin, mediocre power and struggles with B-class fighters, Pac by **** if they ever fight.

Even though most think it'd be a landslide for Pacquiao, I reckon Berto is one of a handful opponents at '47 that'd be good fights for PacMan.

The other top 10'ish welters like P. Williams, Cintron, maybe Margarito are all too lengthy for PacMan I think. He'd struggle mightily with their height and reach not to mention considerable power as well, most especially Kermit.

Other welters I'd think are good matches for Pac, good meaning him having at least a fair chance winning, are Collazo, Quintana & yes, Mosley--after May 1st. The fighters mentioned earlier just have the reach and height that Pac probably won't overcome with his size handicap.

Quintana landed the staright left at will on Berto, that is Manny's bread and butter, he would stop Berto in 4.

My opinion would be your friend must be thinking 6 years in the future or so. As of right now, Pacquiao batters Berto to a farily early stoppage maybe round 5 or 6. Would not be close at all.

Judging by how little Berto has improved as a contender, my opinion is that Pacquiao blows through Berto with ease. That young buck needs to hook up with a world class trainer because he's no where near ready for the best at welter.

I think your friend doesn't exist and you were desperately searching for some thread to start, so that you can get your name out front AND have everyone agreeing with you.

if the floyd fight cant be made- i would wanna see this fight , or against bradley. i think pac would beat berto clearly. berto isnt the fighter people are trying to sell him to be.

but in all honesty- this is a fight that cant be made. there is only one fight in all of boxing that needs to be made. if no other fight is made this year- thats ok - as long as this one is- cos this one makes more money than every other fight in the sport combined.
