they just gonna come up with a whole bunch of excuses if floyd wins.... mannys ears hurt him so he couldnt listen to his corners advice, the fight happened to soon he diddnt have enough time to train or rest, manny wasnt 100% into the fight anyways he had already accomplished all he could and was concentrating to much on elections blah blah blah
Don't be a fool Philla. I specifically said that he doesn't avoid anyone because of skin color. I did say he's avoided slick fighters though. However, I have always maintained that neither fighter could avoid this fight due to the demand and money involved. If Mayweather was undefeated, p4p no.2, but was simply a decent draw, Pac would never fight him. I will not give either fighter credit for taking a fight that they both had to take.
What does that have to do with me? I said before the Cotto fight, that Pac would whoop his ass and that everyone would be calling for a Mayweather/Pac fight. I also said the fight would happen.
You're a fool if you believe this. The revenue split is 50/50 and the fight will take place with 8 oz. gloves at 147 lbs.
The bluff was called?!? Ooooh................. :scaredas: Be afraid. Be very afraid... :scaredas::scaredas::scaredas:
Apparently Arum says that its almost a adone deal know too. From Fightnews.com Pacman agrees to fight Mayweather This content is protected Dennis Principe By Dennis Principe Filipino boxing sensation Manny Pacquiao has agreed in principle to battle Floyd Mayweather, Jr. on March 13. This was confirmed by Pacquiaos lawyer Jeng Gacal in an interview with Fightnews moments ago. Friday night, Pacquiao went on air via GMA-7s 24 Oras newscast and said he is willing to fight Pacquiao on the said date. Hes been trash talking too much and I want to put a stop to it. I dont want kids who are watching us to emulate him, said Pacquiao. Gacal meantime added that Pacquiao seems satisfied with the offer presented to him by American promoter Bob Arum in their meeting Friday afternoon at the Renaissance Hotel. Pacquiao reportedly wants some minor details to be ironed out by Arum for the Filipino pound for pound king to finally sign the dotted line. Gacal said Pacquiao was agreeable to the March 13 face-off as it will still give him ample time to prepare for his Sarangani congressional bid in the May 10, 2010 elections. Early this week the camp of Mayweather made an own announcement indicating their readiness to fight Pacquiao either on March 13 or May 1. Thursday morning Arum arrived from Las Vegas and was able to sit down with Pacquiao after waiting for nearly a day just to get a schedule with the Filipino sensation. Earlier in a press conference announcing the Philippine TV partnership between Top Rank and ABS-CBN, Arum refused to reveal any detail about his meeting with Pacquiao except that it turned out to be fruitful. You guys can interpret that anyway you want. But you see a smile on my face so Im not disappointed, said Arum. Now my job is to go back to the United States, sit with Richard Schaefer (CEO of Golden Boy Promotions) and the Mayweather people so that we can make an announcement in a short term. What kind of logic is that? :huh Mayweather vs pacquiao is high risk high reward. Each fighter gets equal credit for beating the other.
YES!!!!!!!!!!!! Finally an event since PBF-ODLH I can actually get all my mates to go watch!!!!! This fight will be epic (if mayweather can't make it boring)
Having either fighter on your record with a big L next to it doesn't dint your credibility one bit. Although it's floyd who's sticking his record out there to be honest.
