No, Mosley can't make 140, but I bet you he can make 143 and I bet you he can make the transition more easily than Cotto can.

Well, according to Roach and Pacquiao, isn't Mosley their backup plan?

If negotiations with Cotto fall apart, let's see if Pac and Roach put follow through with this.

Or did Sugar Shane call their bluff?

Surely, Roach is smart enough to realize that Mosley presents a MUCH tougher challenge than Cotto.

I agree but I don't see the point of the roach camp taking this Mosley fight. What will Manny gain from this fight? Mosley draw alot less money than Cotto. Even if Manny wins they will say he beatened a weight drained skeleton again. ... no deal.

Too bad, the only other people that would know the real score are the one's that knew you from All Black to Rebe1 to Finito and some others in between. I admit that you know a lot Pacquiao but you're just not giving him a fair shake.

Nobodys forcing him to 147,he already went to 147 and looked very good and manage to get a knock out as well,so why cant he go back to 147?

    Why should HE have to?

He is the sought after commodity here.

If Cotto don't want the fight, I'm sure Shane will take him up on it.

Manny is the one in the driver's seat.

Henry Armstrong started at feather and moved up to welter (21 pounds).

Pacquiao started at junior flyweight and is moving to welter (39 pounds...he already fought a 147-lbs. Oscar De La Hoya).

Even if Pacquiao didn't have the "junior" classes Henry never had today, he would still be jumping 5 original weight classes (fly, bantam, feather, light, welter) to Armstrong's 3 (feather, light, welter).

And yet you complain that he needs to fight at 147 or his legacy is tarnished.

    Your comparison is ridiculous.

Seems that a lot of posters here on ESB are hating on Pacquiao. Let's give him a break.
