Never said counter punchers are the best boxers, but that style is always a threat to Pac offensive minded style. Mayweather and Marquez are the best counter punchers in boxing today. Always said that both would beat Pac. I felt Marquez would win which would really make Pac vs Mayweather fight less appealing.
