Historical PPV buys aside, Pac got the Time magazine cover, 100 most influential people, #1 P4P, Guinness Book of World Records, reputation in fighting someone bigger than him, Nike, and WBO Title Welterweight.

Floyd got the WWE, Reebok, and Dancing with the Stars.

Pac should get the larger share.

You know what's funnier... they chose Marquez because he was 2 weight divisions lower, and they could fatten him up.... funnier but true.
    (more laughs)

So fighting the no.2 p4p mexican fighter and pushing the fight back 3months to mexican independance day was because they wanted that extra 50k so badly?

90% of the people who bought this fight was either mexican or casual fans, the casual fans were duped into thinking it was competetive and the mexicans bought it cos JMM is the last great mexican standing.

Damn, nobody gives Cotto any credit! They set records in PR. If that is so I can only imagine the numbers MC did in the North East.

I just hope this makes them both say 50/50 is a win/win situation. Hell 45/45 with 10% to the winner would make it even more exciting!

I bought it because I am a FMJ supporter and the sideways ish Dana White was saying about boxing and its popularity. If you didn't buy it, how can you say you are a boxing fan?

I also got in on MP/MC. Not a supporter of either, but that was a nice matchup.

Mayweather is a joke.On that interview with brian kenny he says that juan manuel marquez has a country behind him then claims that it is down to him that it sold over 1 million ppv's and said that marquez offered very little.
The guy just does whatever he can to duck people it is unbelievable,me and im sure many others really want pacquiao to shut him up for good and take away his precious 0.His retched dad and uncle are just as bad,no class what so ever, cmon PACMAN shut him up for good!!
