Pacquiao is money right now. Welterweights like mosley, cotto and mayweather wants to fight him. Pacquiao only goes for the biggest fights right now. Valero is not really a big money fight na mean:rofl

Pac is so scared of valero that he wants cotto next:rofl See pac likes to challenge himself against the best not against some guy knocking out dude from the streets. Who's valero's biggest win? yea nuff said:rofl

Personally I would like to see this fight. It's the kind of "shut up" fight to the Pacquiao haters, but it's boxing, he can win or lose.

The only reason I'm not sold on Valero is his competition. There's no guarantee with Valero. It really might be a waste of Pacquiao's time if he does beat him and then Valero keeps getting crushed and turns out he sucks. From his last fight to Pacquiao?, doesn't make sense. What Valero has done, has been done by many fighters who go on to be called "bums". If anything this fight is avoided, but is not the same as "ducking".

And Valero doesn't yet deserve a big pay day, he's delusional!

hmm says... yes he has power but he was using it on tomato cans... the dude was even trying to set a 1st round ko record which imo is bs. Hell it's like fighting ******s (please don't punish me god) to try and break that record....In Valero's case they were tuk tuk drivers.

Manny was the same -minus the undefeated record and with a lower KO % - until he was given opportunities. Why exactly doesn't Valero deserve a shot? This fight is win-win for fans.

It'll be a waste of training. We already know the outcome.

Pacquiao was just as "deserving" when he fought Barrera. You never know until they actually fight...Only one way to settle the debate.

hmm says... I don't see this fight EVER happening and I better not see ppl saying Pac ducked Valero. Even though he has like 2-3 fights left, Roach said if Pac fights PBF and wins, he can retire cause there will be nothing more to prove. Valero doesn't have any value that will draw a big fight. Sure he deserves a chance, but like what everyone else has been saying.... he has not proven himself to merit a shot.

Oh please. Who has he stopped?

Pacquiao would destroy him in the first.

    Pacquiao was more deserving.

But it's "opinion", so lets leave it at that. :nut

I have nothing aganist Valero . . . he just need to prove himself more and it should start now . . . not wanting to fight Prescott citing money is LAME and points out to the other direction.

Rightnow he needs to fight all comers to establish his name . . . :deal
