My Tagalog is not bad, actually. But I can assure you it'd be a hell of a lot better if I were working in the Philippines. Regardless, I made no judgment on his English, but rather the things he repeats before and after every single fight. If he said it in Zulu I'd still feel the same way.
Manny doesn't work in the US. He merely trains and fights there 2 times a year. And what he repeats before and after his fights, again depends on his ability to speak English. He's probably become accustomed to speaking those words fluently; therefore feeling comfortable in sticking with them.
Those saying Roach cherry picked Margo - I could not disagree more. I personally believe Roach did not want Margo one bit - not because he does not think Pac could not beat him but the whole cheating thing and he wanted to JMM really bad to shut up Nacho and JMM. But JMM is GBP and Margo is TR. Guess which Arum (the true power behind fight selection) picked? He ain't gonna hear anything about no GBP fighter.
Freddy punked Manny by admitting Tony didn't look good in his last 2 fights. Nate Campbell said it best: "You gotta' be a dead man to get a fight with Pacman"
Freddie is really ****ing up doing this to Tony, this is a proud man (who is a piece of ****, cheater, etc etc) who possess the ability to hurt Pac. I understand the unique skill set Manny has, and I understand that Manny is a top of the line fighter, but I just think this is ****ing dumb. Why you would want to **** this man off prior to fighting him simply blows my mind, the closer this fight gets the more I see Tony as having a chance to do some serious damage to Pac. He's going to pressure Manny, and he may get dropped, but if he doesn't and when he finally pins Pac in the corner or on the ropes, it could be bad business for Manny.
Funny, how can this not be a judgment of his ability to speak English?Communicating new ideas = knowing how to formulate those ideas into spoken word. Add to that when it's front of a camera and we'll see how prolific you would be in said foreign language.
Manny doesn't work in the US? He merely works there? atsch He makes 90+ percent of his income in the US. He works in America no matter how you try to manipulate the semantics.
lol ur stupid. Floyd has been fighting 'slow plodders' throughout his entire career, with the exception of Judah and Hatton. Mosley was old and crippled when Floyd fought him.
