In my opinion, the fight is not happening because floyd needs golden boy to promote his fights. As much as floyd acts like he is his own boss (which he may be) mayweather promotions does not have a license to promote fights in vegas. Since floyd needs golden boy, fights not happening. Golden boy and TR hate each other. Aside from the time wasted in negotiations, they also have multiple law suits against each other. Its just bitter rivalry over people witj big egos. Also add to the fact that pac has no decision making whatso ever with top rank and floyds big ego, just makes the fight that much more complicated. Didn't help that pac hung up on floyd with no intentions of negotiating.

Floyd has no deal with goldenboy. They promote his fights cuz he fights only their fighters. Were he to fight a top rank fighter gbp would have nothing to do with it. if floyd wanted to fight tim bradley gb most certainly would promote the fight and have "something to do with it".....even though we know thats highly unlikely....if floyd really wanted to fight bradley theyd give bradley money and arum money for bradleys services and gb would promote the fight allowing TR to have their name on the banner.....its the same model that arum offered golden boy for a donaire/mares fight and floyd offered to manny......its unlikely because floyd doesnt need any of TRS fighters....but if he truely wanted to get it done....GB certainly would be involved

Yo man, floyd aint got his papers right to promote his own fights know what im saayyin. So he needs gbp to promote his fights namean! So since gbp and tr hate each other its hard to make the fight cuz. Floyd aint about to let bob promote his fight cuz and bob aint about to do it.

well its simple....over the past 5 years arum has jerked him around...he never wanted it...he walked to fight clottey which was his plan the whole time.....he ran some fake countdown clock for some deal that never existed...he made excuses about cuts, stadiums, licenses, not knowing who to call, saying hes waiting to be called......floyd calls manny....manny hangs up.....arum is hush and then says "were willing to make the fight someone has to call us i cant wave a wand" on the same day he announces pac/bradley 2....he trashes floyds fight, the mgm, and urges a boycott............the reality is...those things were said and done....pac fans can choose to ignore that if theyd like...i wont...i cant....they happened....and u wonder why he might not want bob involved huh?
