marquez still got at least $1.5M on the rematch and pac got about $3M. it's just about right considering pac's status as a PPV material back then. who is much greedy are TR and GBP for not giving both pac and marquez more for that classic of a fight.

 

he offered jmm a shitty split and you don't think that is greedy, hatton is a bigger money draw than pacman so why does pacman deserve more money

 

Even Paulie got $1.5 million Vs Hatton.... and Hatton got around $7 Million for the bout

 

So if he doesn't think it's fair why doesn't he take the U.S PPV and Hatton take the UK PPV and see who comes out on top :good

The fact is the deal was 60-40 in favour of Manny with the UK rights going to Hatton... But Manny found out how much the UK rights are worth so wanted a piece... and not only a piece but a larger slice than Hatton !! that is Greed nothing more nothing Less.

Manny may be p4p no 1 BUT he is no big name here in the UK with casual sports fans so why should he get 60% of Hattons PPV

hatton is a bigger money draw only in UK. pac is the bigger draw in the US.
jmm at that time is not yet a PPV star. i am not sure about the $1.5M he received but i guess he made more.

anyway, there are news that 52-48 is settled. pac did have the bigger share though only a token one. and a report said that it would come straight from arum's pockets.

we actually do not know the exact things that transpired and what are stipulated on those offers. right now, it is reported that it was settled at 52-48. but we don't know if this includes everything. for all we know, hatton would still be keeping 50-50 or a bigger part of the UK PPV and 52-48 is just for the purse. heck, there are even a report that arum is the one giving the extra money to pac and this means hatton is receiving the same he was offered as before. at the end of the day, it is good that these promoters are the one who are ad******g and giving more to their fighters.

 

I would agree that he is the bigger Draw in the U.S but his draw is still not massive by any stretch of the imagination 250k Vs Diaz is pretty lame TBH.

Although i don't want to sound like a Manny hater because i'm not, but the way him and his ppl carry out there business did not impress me

 

yes coz he knew that he would be earning much more than pac just like what happened in the floyd fight. pac and his team noticed this which floyd didn't. pac is wiser not to be fooled by this type of offer.

as far as i'm concerned, i am happy that this fight is settled. i don't care if it is 50-50, 52-48, 55-45 or 60-40. it's just amazing how people are bashing pac for asking for what he deserves. if pac is fighting at a higher weight, people would not be underestimating pac's worth.
