Pacquiao can still improve his status right now in his prime years, not Jones. If Pacquiao beats Cotto, since Arum wants that one and then pulls an incredible upset against Mayweather in a finale, then he'd be way ahead of Jones in my book !

"untouchable auras" are meaningless in my opinion

i mean Jones wouldn't have that aura if he was fighting Lewis at heavyweight than than Ruiz

Mayweather possibly wouldn't have it if he'd encountered Tszyu at light welter as opposed to Corley

    etc.

the fact is Manny has gone in with people that can make ANYONE look like a mere mortal, and more often than not, he triumphed

I love Manny to death, but I will never mistake him for a prime Jones.

If he were to beat Floyd, I think you'd have to call him better all-time though.

    LOL @ this

It's Pac and it's not even close....just compare the resumes, and compare the risks they both took, Pac is no doubt greater then Roy

Jones dominance left a lasting impression....he was invincible....

you can keep telling yourself that but Pac has already taken much bigger risks in his last 2 fights than Glass Jaw Roy ever dreamed of.

Pac has passed him he has risen to challenges and not made BS excuses in order to avoid fights.

Pac's resume is better than Roy's now also. The fights were there for Roy he just flat out refused to take them and that is a fact.

Pacquiao, when was the last time Jones utterly trashed a P4p ranked boxer in 2 rounds?

Virgil Hill was about par with Hatton....?

Griffin was P4P nr 4 at the time of rematch with Jones

Griffin was more LIVE than De La Hoya

and Hill was just as Live and better skilled than Rickster

Hatton has been #1 JW for years, 4 years I believe.

Hill and Griffin were not that good.

When you look at the jww division over the past few years,it hasn't been that good since Cotto left it. And are you sure that Griffin and Hill were not that good? And what about Toney,Hopkins and McCallum? And for all you haters out there, who did Jones actually duck?

    its close

I have RJJ as a top 20 ATG
Pacman as a top 25 ATG

if Pacman beats Mayweather he will clearly go ahead of RJJ
